Samsung Electronics ITCAM-7 Preview
I did get to see this at CES and now it is getting more press now that it is close to release. It's the Samsung ITCAM DV cam. It's the first cam to use a disc instread of a tape. It will also act as a hard drive, image viewer and mp3 player. It will capture 1 hour of MPEG-4 video in SHQ mode has USB capability. Now if you were going to do DV, you would want firewire but this is doing all the work inside the camera for compression, so USB 2.0 is a logical decision. You can see some stats on the ITCAM-7 here.
