Nextel sues Verizon Wireless over ads
Carrier known for its walkie-talkie service says Verizon Wireless commercials are misleading.

Nextel Communications Inc, the No. 5 U.S. wireless operator, Tuesday sued Verizon Wireless, charging its larger rival with false advertising in a series of advertisements for a new walkie-talkie phone service.
The lawsuit steps up a battle between the two carriers over a service that allow wireless subscribers to connect with colleagues or friends across the country with the push of a button, instead of dialing a number and waiting for the call to go through.
In August, Verizon Wireless launched its so-called 'push to talk' service, taking aim at a lucrative market niche that Nextel (NXTL: Research, Estimates) dominated for a decade. Other carriers are planning to introduce similar services over the next six months. " Check out CNN
