Intel giving out wireless for one day, but not to you Los Angeles
On Thursday, September 25, Intel will be teaming up with leading wireless Internet service providers, notebook manufacturers, retailers, hotspot location owners, and content and software providers in the U.S. to bring you a day of wireless.

These companies are providing free wireless Internet access in select locations on One Unwired Day.

Barnes & Noble* (Atlanta & Seattle)

Borders Books & Music* - Visit the Borders kiosk at the One Unwired Day festivals in New York, Chicago and San Francisco for a free Wi-Fi* day pass or go to your local Borders store to find out how to unwire at a Borders cafe near you.
