This is a little bit freakyNothing like a little FEMA to scare you but I have been reading up on FEMA rumors and this creeps me. I turns out there is a documented commissioner in Washington state that says he knows of plans for a FEMA concentration camp. There is also stories about other camps too, right here in Southern California. I am going to try to get close to some of these. I want to find the truth about shackles and chains around our innocence. Read

Those pesky JapaneseWell the Japanese had a hacking contest, but they have failed the sensei. Maybe selling the UK more Banzai TV crap but it seems that it is probably the legal problems this was cancelled. I just skimmed the story but under Japanese law, computer users convicted of hacking into computer systems or downloading files without authorization face up to 1 year in prison or a fine of 500,000 yen ($4,200). Makes Kevin Mitnick look like Timothy McVeigh. More

So Everyone might be doubting this but...
Uday and Qusay were killed and the photos were release today. Funny how they are saying that Uday looks battered and bloodied. I don't remember the Marines beating him up. If they did, why did they kill him? I think this is staged and the website
http://infowars.com also thinks that these are fakes. Why don't they finally get Hussain, or better yet, Osama? This is getting boring like American Idol. When will the American Government show some power for the people instead of swindling them.

Wells Fargo Customers Hit With E-Mail Scam
Message included an attachment used to collect passwords from recipients' PCs.

Some customers of Wells Fargo bank Monday found themselves the target of an e-mail fraud attempt.
One customer contacted the bank after receiving a suspicious-looking e-mail from "Wells Fargo Accounting" regarding a new account application. Wells Fargo responded Tuesday, saying the e-mail was a hoax.
It contained an attachment that, if opened, would download software onto the customer's computer, gather passwords, and send them to an unauthorized third party, presumably to the originator of the e-mail, the bank said.
Wells Fargo urged recipients to delete both the e-mail and the attachment and, if they had reason to believe they had been infected, to use antivirus software and change all their Internet and system passwords.
"Please be assured that the hoax e-mail was not sent from Wells Fargo and is not associated with any department of Wells Fargo. It is being circulated to a large number of people, including some Wells Fargo customers," the bank said in its e-mail.
Wells Fargo said its systems had not been compromised in any way.
So it's safer outside huh?
You would think with more security and the Warning System at a low level. Airports are more open, drive the car right up to the curb. Time to feel safe, right? Well Attorney General John Ashcroft says no. John Ashcroft told federal and local officials Monday the USA Patriot Act should be expanded, not softened. The newest act will lower legal standards for government agents to listen to private telephone calls or search homes. It also grants federal authorities wider access to citizens' personal medical, financial and school records, library records and bookstore purchases. While in Alaska he was asked "What of Congressmans Don Young's objections to the act? Should the act be changed? "I think it seems to most Americans that an adjustment may be appropriate," Ashcroft said. It should expand to give federal officers more authority, he said. We need to get rid of this offensive Patriot Act. Read more of

So today was a nice day for a magazine read
I went to get the car washed so it was a nice time to catch up on some magazine reading. I picked up my Maximum PC mag and headed for the car wash and here is the stories that I felt were worth posting.
EZ-D Discs on the way
A while ago there was some talk about these discs that would start to decay one the Oxygen hit the surface. They are called EZ-D(estructo) discs. The discs will last two days then the disc will no longer be able to be read by a DVD player. Disney will be first to use this technology and will be releasing "The Recruit", "Signs", and "The Hot Chick" on this new technology. I wonder, if any, what copy protection will be used to prevent ripping of these discs.
Turbo Tax dumps the copy protection
It turns out that Intuit is not happy with the Copy Protection as well. Besides the numerous complaints from users from not being able to remove the copy protection after removing the software, the software did not make sales expectations either. They have stated that the new versions of Turbo Tax will not incorperate the copy protection. So I guess the Warez kiddies make sales after all.
More fixes to the Moloch T-Shirt Page
It's not perfect due to the tools that I am using but the T-Shirt section is a little more usable. We will be posting the new T-Shirt next week right before DEFCON. We only have a couple XL sized Periodic Table of Unix Commands Shirts left. Who knows if we will have some left for DEFCON. I can't wait to see all of my friends that have been MIA. Check out the
