Lindows is giving away free PCs?
Found on msfreepc.com:
"Microsoft was found guilty of anti-trust violations based on claims brought by the U.S. Department of Justice. Microsoft recently agreed to a $1.1 BILLION settlement to resolve numerous lawsuits alleging that Microsoft's behavior violated antitrust and unfair competition laws. This settlement brings with it some very good news for consumers!

Eligible consumers who act quickly can receive their share of the $1.1 billion settlement. There is a limited time in which these funds can be claimed so you should act quickly. If you do not submit your claim in time, then Microsoft is not required to pay out the full 1.1 billion dollar amount. Click the 'Tell me more' arrow below to learn more. "

Verisign is making their own Microsoft by stealing traffic now you can stop it.
Verisign has implemented their wildcard plan. The wildcard plans were posted on Slashdot but if you wanted to see how it works, just type any domain you want to make up in the URL field of your browser (e.g. verisigncanblowgoatsinhell.com) and that will resolve to a parked page, with links that will give verisign revenue. This parking domains is so close to the illegal parking crime that we have seen in the past. A group at imperialviolet.org has built patches for dns to ignore these verisign parked pages.

Update: Overheard on the net "I glanced at the patch for 8.4.1, it looks like it will work but will require a recompile of bind every time the wildcard address changes. I think we'll want a more flexible solution, either the nameserver performs the wildcard lookup automatically or we have a config file change
