Ok, bitching again...
I know most of you have seen the show or website "the Broken", well I was just checking out the video compression of the videos they were doing because Moloch TV is going to be launching the tommEE show in a couple of weeks. So I was looking at the video breakdown and I noticed, the newbies don't even de-interlace the video they throw up on the web. What the heck are they using to encode their videos, Windows Movie Maker? I just thought I would bitch about thier show and announce the tommEE show coming soon.

HP to Sell Own Version of Apple iPod Player
SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Hewlett-Packard Co. on Thursday announced a range of consumer electronics devices aimed at the digital home, including plans to sell a digital music player based on Apple Computer Inc.'s popular iPod player.

Beginning this spring, HP said it will start selling the HP-branded player, as well as make available Apple's popular and easy-to-use iTunes digital music jukebox and online music store to HP customers.

HP said that, as part of the agreement with Apple, its consumer personal computers and notebook PCs will come preinstalled with iTunes and a desktop icon to point users directly to the iTunes Music Store.

Stupid Fun
I know it's gotten out of control but I can resist. They are crappy pictures but here are pictures of Ben Affleck's Stupid Motorcycle. He didn't really block the walkway but he chose to park it on the walkway of the Google, Live Planet, and Click Media.

Worse than Fark, I will find my love somewhere else
I was just seing what may have been interesting on the Screensavers today and I was checking out a story from the anchor Kevin Rose. I really wish they would stop saying Dark Tipper or hacker. Kevin seems to have more looks than skills and seems to dredge up some old shit but anyway, this is not what bothered me. I was on a page and I found personals.techtv.com. Are you f*cking kidding me. This has to be a joke. I know TechTV is in trouble and I have underground news on TechTV that I will release after CES but release a web dating service like personals.techtv.com is foolish.

It seems like smaller is not actually better, at least when it's an iPod
Even Jobs's Jedi-esque powers of reality dispersion can't alter the unfavorable math behind Apple's new offering. Here are the hard numbers. The new miniPod will cost $249. That's about $100 more than the rumor sites had posited. It will offer 4 gigabytes of capacity on its hard drive. By comparison, the entry-level iPod now costs $299 and has 15 gigabytes of disk space. The miniPod's cost per gigabyte is $62.50. In the entry-level iPod, it's about $20.

Another Police State Report
From Alex Jones Infowars site:
"Just as Alex Has been Saying All Along: The So-Called Traffic and Security Cams Installed Just About Everywhere Will Be Monitored by Homeland Security's Big Brother Network of Neighborhood Spies -- How Orwellian can you get?"

Homeland-Security Neighborhood Watch, The
A spotter at home in Albany, say, receives the image and, suspecting something is up, immediately alerts the data center, which then automatically sends out up to 20 more photos from cameras around the trespass location to a second group of spotters. If this second group confirms the alert, supervisors at the data centers review all the footage and can demand, through loudspeakers placed on each camera, that the intruder identify himself."

Wireless Monitor Software
I was surfing around and I stumbled on to this software. Appearantly it was recently featured on the Screensavers. I am already using an Aruba 800 for my security reasons but it does look like cool software. Check it out at Digital Matrix - AirSnare

UPDATE: I just tried to check it out in my Aruba network. Thinks my IP Bridges are ilegal MAC addresses. Uses NET message to send messages? Who leaves that on? Who uses windows while on some alien AP? If you are on windows, use WinDump, it is better for monitoring analyzing.

Police State Alert! Figerprinting at Airports right now!
Fans of Moloch, this is really scary. This is now an invasion of privacy rights. We will now ALL be watched. This is big brother and the police state. If you think that I am crazy, I will give you more details why this is going to hurt us more than it will heal. If you haven't seen any of Alex Jones Documentaries, I will send you one, just email me (alexjones at moloch.org). We need to refuse figerprinting to get on airplanes, there is no reason why Americans need to be fingerprinted. A national database of identification will cripple our rights. Please see these warning signs. If they want you to be fingerprinted to fly, don't fly. Once they see that we won't put up with this, it will stop. We need to stand up for our rights, don't let them fool you about terroristic theories. This is about starting a police state so that we are treated like cattle. This is serious.
