It's not Live, it's Memorex!
For the last two nights, The Screensavers on Tech TV has been pre-taped. Why is this network still on TV? Day-old news, no real tech stuff. For Christ's sake they even have the "Ain't it Cool News" Editors on segments and Musical acts. If I wanted a show on my TiVo that was so empty of knowledge, I would start taping Leno. I can't poke fun since he makes jokes about todays news. The Feed on Tech TV was news from Tuesday 30th November. Where is Cnet on the TV, why did you leave so long ago?????? Damn you G4.

that he didn't know that he was hired to be a ventriloquist tool instead of

Speaking of work, Dan Huard was recently slashdotted with his "blowing
the whistle on live calls" post. My take is pretty much the same as Dan's.
When the show format changed (the LA TSS), management didn't want any
technical questions about motherboards or software issues. Instead they
wanted "lifestyle" questions like: "what kind of stereo should I buy?", or
"what DVDs should I buy?". Well, no one was calling with those questions,
so they were forced to start having employees and friends ask the questions.
As of now, they have gone back to the live callers, but most questions are
gaming or guest-related questions.
