Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) is a technology that uses sophisticated modulation schemes to pack data onto copper wires. Without interfering with voice service, DSL uses the extra bandwidth on phone lines to transmit data and ultimately, provide a high-speed connection to the Internet. It dramatically increases the digital capacity of ordinary telephone lines from switching stations into the home/office. National offers DSL solutions at both ends of the "last-mile" in an effort to make the connection between the user and the Internet faster.
Component Highlights
* ADC - high-resolution, high-speed, and single-supply- operation ADCs provide an easy-to-implement DSL AFE solution.
* Operational amplifiers - low-noise, low-distortion amplifiers support the high performance of DSL filters and front ends. With high output drive capability, selected amplifiers are also ideal for customer premises equipment and central office DSL drivers applications. |
