Medical diagnostic applications, such as electrocardiographs, allow doctors to use sensors and electrodes to monitor internal patient health. The detected signals are amplified, filtered, and digitally converted to output waveforms on a display or printer for analyzing abnormalities.

Component Highlights
* A/D converter - high speed, 10-bit or greater resolution converters are designed for high-performance medical diagnostic equipment; many include internal sample-and-hold for convenience.
* Operational amplifiers, buffers - Ideal for medical diagnostic and sensing applications, precision operational amplifiers and high-current driver amplifiers have rail-to-rail input and output for best use of the supply voltage range. High-speed buffers are available in several gains and configurations.
* Voltage reference - select from several references with better than 0.2% accuracy to deliver precise voltages of between 1.024V and 10V.
* Voltage supervisor - a broad selection of tiny, flexible voltages supervisors offer manual reset and low-voltage operation.
