System Overview System Diagram

X-Ray Imaging is an old technology that today still progresses forward through the advancements in analog technology. Once the x-ray receivers receive the signals, the analog in the system amplifies, filters, and converts the signal to a digital format for the DSP. The accuracy and clarity of the x-ray system is directly related to the quality of the signal. Therefore, providing accurate analog solutions, such as references and regulators, is vital for a successful x-ray system.

Component Highlights
* A/D converter - select from several high-speed 8-, 10-, and 12-bit converters, many offering digital error correction and on-chip sample-and-hold circuits to minimize power consumption.
* Voltage reference - with accuracy of 0.5% or better, these devices provide a precise reference of 1.024V-2.5V for the ADC.
* Operational amplifier - devices with low noise and distortion combined with wide bandwidth enhance the performance of x-ray imaging systems.
* Variable gain amplifier - wide-bandwidth VGAs include features such as shutdown and differential input and output, ideal for x-ray imaging applications.
