Obama Overrides FBI And DHS On Terrorists Release Moving quickly to release Chinese Uighur terrorists into the United States, Obama has -- for the second time -- overridden objections of federal agencies responsible for national security.

The first time -- as I reported on April 20 -- the White House overrode the inter-agency panel it created from all the national security agencies to review all the cases of the Guantanamo Bay prisoners.  That panel found that the seventeen Uighurs -- members of the East Turkestan Islamic Movement captured at an al-Queda training camp in Pakistan -- were too dangerous to release in the United States.

Now -- according to a federal agency source who requested anonymity -- the White House has also overridden opposition to the release from both the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security.

Beginning yesterday and continuing today, Obama administration officials are briefing key members of Congress on the release, which may happen as early as next week.  There apparently has been no decision on where the Uighurs will be turned loose.  Earlier reports suggested they could be released in Alexandria, Virginia or Washington, D.C.

And guess who's going to be paying for the Uighur's relocation and subsistence -- you are.  The first Uighur terrorist cell in America will be underwritten by the American taxpayer under the direction of the Obama White House.
Obama Busily Appeasing Jihadists "To the Muslim world," said Barack Obama in his Inaugural Address, "we seek a new way forward, based on mutual interest and mutual respect." After 100 days, how’s that going?

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad summed it up best, responding contemptuously to Obama’s offer to sit down to talk without preconditions and taunting Obama for his impotence:  "We say to you that you yourselves know that you are today in a position of weakness.  Your hands are empty, and you can no longer promote your affairs from a position of strength."

Ahmadinejad is also turning Obama’s campaign promise against him.  When Obama indicated that he wouldn’t impose preconditions on negotiations with Iran, the Iranian saw an opening.  Now, he’s apparently demanding preconditions for the talks by pressuring Obama for concessions on the Israel-Palestinian conflict.

Iran’s Thug-In-Chief spoke like an aggressor who has spotted an appeaser, and is determined to wring from him as many concessions as possible.

How has it come to this so quickly?  Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano seem to have made it a top priority of their administration’s opening act to weaken our position with the Islamic jihadists:

•  They quietly dropped the term "war on terror."  Napolitano even went so far as to say that she preferred to refer not to acts of "terrorism" but to "man-caused disasters" (NOW had no recorded comment about her sexist language).  Meanwhile, a DHS report on "right-wing extremists" had no trouble referring to veterans and conservatives of all kinds as potential "terrorists."  This suggested a disquieting will to silence and demonize the political opposition, all the while regarding the real terror threat with extraordinary myopia.

•  Obama named Los Angeles Times columnist Rosa Brooks as an advisor to the undersecretary of Defense for policy.  Brooks is venomously anti-Israel and once wrote that al Qaeda was "little more than an obscure group of extremist thugs," and that the Bush Administration had only imagined that it was a "vast global threat."

•  He has tapped Harold Koh to become the legal adviser for the State Department.  Koh has said that he had no objection to Sharia law being applied to "an appropriate case" in the United States.

•  In a startling breach of protocol, Obama bowed deeply to the King of Saudi Arabia, implying an obeisance that isn’t going to free us from our dependence upon the oil sheikhs any time soon.

•  While on a trip to Europe, he refused to visit the American Cemetery at Normandy, but made a point of visiting a mosque in Istanbul.  He expressed, in an address to the Turkish Parliament, his "deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over the centuries to shape the world -- including in my own country."  It’s unclear how he thinks Islam has shaped the U.S., other than to lead to innovations in airport security.  His statement did nothing but embolden the jihadists who have dedicated their efforts to bringing Islamic law to the West.

•  Obama said also that "the United States is not and never will be at war with Islam" -- indicating that he had no intention of addressing the ideological challenge that Islamic jihadists present to the West, or of acknowledging the fact that although the U.S. is not at war with Islam, many Muslims consider Islam to be at war with the U.S.

•  Obama invited to the White House the head of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, a 56-nation body that has declared its intention to compel the United Nations to criminalize all criticism of Islam.

•  He has declared his determination to open negotiations with "moderate elements" of the Taliban, despite the fact that no such people have ever been found.

•  He has declared his determination to close Guantanamo, despite the fact that over 60 former Gitmo detainees have returned to the jihad.

All this and more in just 100 days.

Obama apparently doesn’t know the difference between appeasement and diplomacy.  A diplomat will sell you and your nation for a price.  An appeaser will give it away without getting anything in return.

Obama's Lie:  Britain Did Torture During Obama's 100th-day presser, he said he had recently read an article about Winston Churchill during the London blitz.  "Churchill said, 'We don't torture,' when the entire British -- all of the British people were being subjected to unimaginable risk and threat," Obama said.  "And then the reason was that Churchill understood, you start taking short-cuts, over time, that corrodes what's -- what's best in a people.  It corrodes the character of a country."

The anecdote wasn't true.  Churchill may well have said that Britain did not torture, but British archives show clearly that captured Nazis were subjected to harsh treatment in order to extract information during World War II.  This morning, Michael Tomasky points to this 2005 story in the Guardian about a secret World War II detention center called the "London Cage":

The London Cage was used partly as a torture centre, inside which large numbers of German officers and soldiers were subjected to systematic ill-treatment.  In total 3,573 men passed through the Cage, and more than 1,000 were persuaded to give statements about war crimes.  The brutality did not end with the war, moreover: a number of German civilians joined the servicemen who were interrogated there up to 1948. . . .

Did Obama Receive A Fulbright Scholarship? Yahoo! Answers has the following report posted as an "Open Question."

In a move certain to fuel the debate over Obama’s qualifications for the presidency, the group "Americans for Freedom of Information" has released copies of President Obama’s college transcripts from Occidental College.  Released today, the transcript indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate at the school.

The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California.  The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program.  To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship.

This document would seem to provide the smoking gun that many of Obama’s detractors have been seeking.

This report is posted here, because it's popping up all over the Internet, but I'm suspicious of it and would classify it as a rumor until somebody posts the court documents.

In a case brought by Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation on behalf of Ambassador Alan Keyes, Judge Michael P. Kenny threw out a subpoena issued to Occidental College to provide copies of Obama's records of attendance.  Now there may be another case or another finding, but that's the last info I have.

Of course, these rumors could be put to rest if Obama would just release his bona fides, instead of spending more than $1 million dollars on lawyers.

According to Politico, "the FEC allows elected officials to use campaign funds to pay legal fees only if the action/investigations arise as a result of their tenure in office or campaigns."

That seems to be a fairly straightforward rule by the FEC.

However, Obama is illegally using campaign funds to fight the disclosure of his college records from Occidental because they might show that he enrolled as a foreign citizen.  Why else would he hire a high-priced lawyer whose other clients include Amazon, Starbucks, and Microsoft?  His campaign has spent almost $700,000 on just this one law firm -- and he has other law teams actively denying the American People reasonable access to his birth certificate and scholastic and medical records.

Why?
Marking Every Front Door In America Well, now we know why ACORN got 5 Billion$ from the Stimulus Bill, and why the White House took control of the US Census Bureau.  A perfect excuse to start tagging homes in America for the next Census scheduled for 2010, though it directly violates Sec. 223, Title 13, U.S. Code, Chapter 7, Subtitle 2 which provides the Fed NO authority to GPS paint your front door.  It is in direct violation of the Constitution and no one is doing anything to stop it.

ACORN signed on as a national partner with the U.S. Census Bureau in February 2009 to assist with the recruitment of the 1.4 million temporary workers needed to go door-to-door to count every person in the United States -- currently believed to be more than 306 million people.  But the count doesn’t take place until 2010.  This is April 2009.

No imagination is required to think up a whole laundry list of evil that could be done with a nationwide GPS grid of coordinate’s markers painted on every private home across the country.  But I was having trouble thinking up one good reason for it, even one legitimate use that would justify what must be a very expensive undertaking.

According to one of the Census workers, who spoke with me on condition of anonymity, they must GPS mark the coordinates "within 40 ft of every front door" in America and they are supposed to complete that mission nation wide, within 90 days, by the end of July 2009.

The workers were not told why they were GPS marking every front door.  But a supervisor is sent out to follow them door-to-door, to make certain that no door is left unmarked.  Every door will be marked by one employee, and then checked by a follow-up supervisor.

So, I had to ask, why?

Why does the Obama administration need or want the latitude and longitude coordinates for every home in America?  Why the rush to GPS paint every home in the next 90 days?  Why must the marker be within 40 ft of every front door?  For what possible purpose does the Fed need GPS coordinates for every home, and under what authority do they have the right?  Census workers, whom I asked, had the same holy-crap look on their faces that I had by then.

Best I can tell, the Fed has NO authority whatsoever, to paint the front door of every private residence in America.  Still, that is exactly what they are doing.  Now, the trillion dollar question is, why?"

Obama’s interest in an ACORN controlled 2010 Census, for the purpose of redistricting to the advantage of Democrats before the 2010 mid-term elections, comes as NO shock from a regime known for their heavy handed Rules for Radicals political strategies.

But what does this have to do with GPS marking every home in the country?
