DESCRIPTION:
Victor Ashik has reported a vulnerability in less in Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 3, which potentially can be exploited by malicious
people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the handling of binary
files. This can be exploited to cause a heap based buffer overflow by
tricking a user into opening a specially crafted binary file.

Success exploitation may lead to execution of arbitrary code.

SOLUTION:
Updated packages are available from Red Hat Network.
