DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in freeSSHd, which can be
exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to a NULL-pointer dereference error
when processing overly large strings. This can be exploited to crash
an affected server via a specially crafted SSH packet.

This may be related to:
SA36506

The vulnerability is confirmed in FreeSSHDService.exe version
1.2.6.22. Other versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Restrict access to the SSH port.
