DESCRIPTION:
Secunia Research has discovered multiple vulnerabilities in various
Symantec products, which can be exploited by malicious people to
cause a DoS (Denial of Service) or compromise a vulnerable system.

For more information:
SA38690

NOTE: Symantec IM Manager is reported as vulnerable since it includes
the vulnerable libraries. However, the product does not use the
vulnerable content filtering process of the Verity Filter and is,
therefore, not affected by the vulnerabilities.

SOLUTION:
Update to a fixed version (please see the vendor's security advisory
for details).

PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY:
Carsten Eiram and Dyon Balding, Secunia Research.
