DESCRIPTION:
A security issue has been reported in NetBSD, which can be exploited
by malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The security issue is caused due to an insufficient GLOB_LIMIT
implementation, which can be exploited to exhaust memory or cause a
high CPU load via specially crafted patterns in commands passed to
the ftpd or sftp server processes.

SOLUTION:
Fixed in the CVS repository. Please see the vendor advisory for
details.
