DESCRIPTION:
James Burton has discovered a vulnerability in Up.Time Monitoring
Station, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain
security restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to the application not properly
restricting access to initial password setting mechanism after the
password has been set, which can be exploited to e.g. reset the
administrator's password and email address by sending a specially
crafted request to the application.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 5.4.0 for Windows. Other
versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Filter malicious requests using a proxy.
