DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in IBM AIX, which can be exploited
by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error when using the
"socketpair()" function and can be exploited to cause a system crash
by making a function call with a socket in the free list.

The vulnerability is reported in versions 5.3, 6.1, and 7.1.

SOLUTION:
Apply APARs IV19178, IV16603, IV21128, IV21131, and IV21235.
