RM Toolkit 1.0 FAQ
<================> 24.10.99

RM Toolkit let's you access the registry, the display menu properties, access to DOS and the option to put a little notice box that will pop up whenever the computer starts up on restricted Windows boxes (the notice option also works on non-restricted boxes). It also let's you disable those services if they're enabled (lots of fun with your clueless friends!! Be creative).
What does it mean? Does this mean that you should now copy this into a diskette and hop around the city, screwing up with every poor restricted Windows box you see (yeah, some security, huh? :-) ) and then running back home to tell your "l33t0_b0r1t0 k-r4d h4x0r friendz from IRC"? NO!! It means that you will only try this on yourself, or play around with it as long as you have permission to do so.

Oh, and in case you don't know what a restricted Windows box is... well, it's a Windows-operated computer (YUCK, I hate Windows!! It's unstable and it has the worst security in the world! Even my pocket calculator has better security) that has several options (for example: control panel, registry editing etc'. Oh, and this is a good chance to mention that the next versions will also allow you to have control panel access) disabled in it. Why would people wanna do that? Take libraries for example. If you were a librarian, [you'd be old and ugly*, and...] you won't want little kids screwing up with the libraries computers, now wouldn't you (oh, dear! CONTROL PANEL!!)? So you'll restrict access to some options.

And of course, in case you're wondering WHY we've made this program... well, we did that to show all of those lamers who count on Microsoft for security just how INSECURE they are... MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! (okay, time for my pill now)
