Racing Headphones
(330-1198) Operation Faxback Doc. # 53214
CAUTIONS: Turn down the volume on your sound source before plugging in
the headphones.
Do not use these mono headphones with a stereo system without
also using a mono-plug-to-stereo-jack adapter (available at
your local RadioShack store). If it is wired to function with
mono headphones, the stereo system could be damaged.
1. Connect the headphones' 1/8-inch (3.5 mm) plug to the sound source.
If the sound source has a 1/4-inch (6.35 mm) jack, use an adapter that
accepts a 1/8-inch mono phone plug and fits into a 1/4-inch mono phone
jack. (Adapters are available at your local RadioShack store.)
2. Try on the Racing Headphones. If you need to adjust the headband for
a comfortable fit, take them off first.
Loosen the knobs slightly on both sides of he headband by tuning the
knobs counterclockwise. Slide the earcups up or down until they are
positioned where you want them, then tighten the knobs and put on the
headphones.
3. Turn the headphones' volume control clockwise as far as it will go
(to its maximum setting), then adjust the sound source's volume to
a comfortable level.
The coiled cord extends to 9 feet (2.7 meters) for free movement while
listening. If you need a longer cord, monaural extension cords are
available at your local RadioShack store.
