If you have problems, here are some suggestions which might help.
Problem Possible Cause Remedy

Resetting The Scanner
If the scanner's display does not work properly after you install
batteries or connect it to power, you might need to reset the scanner.
CAUTION: This procedure clears all the information you have programmed
into the scanner. Before you reset the scanner, try turning it
off and on to see if it begins working properly.
To reset the scanner, turn it off, then turn it back on while holding down
the 2 and 9 keys.
If none of these suggestions help, take your scanner to your local Radio
Shack store for assistance.
