In this tutorial, you will be shown how to store frequencies into the channels of your scanner. To make it easier to identify and select the channels you want to listen to, channels are divided into 20 banks of 50 channels each. Use each channel storage bank to group frequencies, such as those used by the police department, fire department, ambulance services, or aircraft.

Step 1: Enter Manual Mode | |

Press the MANUAL button. A channel number and the frequency stored in that channel appear on the display. In this example, it is Channel 2 and 000.000 MHz. | |
Step 2: Select the Channel | |
Enter the channel number (1-1000) where you want to store a frequency. Press MANUAL again. The channel number appears on the display. | |

Use the number
keys and (.)/Clear to enter the frequency (including the decimal point)
