11/15/05 Player application is almost completed.
11/30/05 Made some improvements to the compression issues and lost some ground on the player. The player has to have some pretty major rework done to account for limitations in Direct Show. This sets me back about one month.
12/22/05 I don't want to get people thinking that this thing is almost finished. At some point in the next year (2006) it should be done. I can't blame people for wanting something better now. I wish I had something to ship today but it's going to be a while longer. At this point there's still a lot of work needed to get the player to stay in sync with the recording log information, such as freq and times. I'll post another update on how the work is coming after I solve this touchy design issue.
