IA64 Architecture Documentation

Being the result of a team-up of Hewlett Packard and Intel, the IA64 is a promising approach to wind out of that IA32 mess. It uses a new paradigm called 'VLIW' (very long instruction words) to be able to overcome both the deficiencies of CISC and RISC based designs. There is still a real load of development going on, but we hopefully see this architecture replacing the old x86's soon.
