Book claims over 150,000 partial jews (Mischlinge) in the German army during WWII. Sounds like a fascinating read, even if one doubts the authenticity of the claims.

This photo of "half-Jew" Werner Goldberg, who was blond and blue-eyed, was used by a Nazi propaganda newspaper for its title page. Its caption: "The Ideal German Soldier."

The ideal German soldier named Goldberg? Didn't that name ring a bell? :)

LOL. I doubt they published the soldier's name. They just wanted a certain phenotype to promote racial doctrine.
I doubt this one would have made it into the SS Troops.

LOL...the only things missing on that picture are the yarmulkes. :)
And that extended foreskin on his head that religious kikes wear.

I don't think back then the racial purity issue was of utmost importance in regards to the "then" German powers. Ultimately a White Germany was the goal, but to use less than pure Whites to do so was ok. I think the major factor was whether or not the safe people had a strong German family line....unlike gypsies for example who weren't home in any country.

The fate of the mischlinge soldiers became more iffy as the Nazi Party began to hone it's racial ideology. I'm sure looks alone played a major factor, and of course there was no DNA testing.
I doubt that this soldier got much scrutiny.

Nazi scientists were working on genetic testing (who eventually made major discoveries) and DNA was still years away, but they did do visual tests and standards for preferable specimens such as nose sizes, ear types, eye colour, hair colour and texture and even skull shape. And then the preferables were encourage to intermarry and reproduce and pass down the desireable genes.
It was a plan and it wasn't going to happen over night.
