Kickboxing Instructor Charged With Student Sex Assault
Teen Says Man Supplied Her With Cocaine

A kickboxing instructor was charged Wednesday with sexually assaulting a teenage girl.

Ken Levy, 44, is accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old student and employee at the kickboxing club he owns at 30371 Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak.

Levy is accused of having sexual relations with the teen three times from December 2003 to May 2004, police said.

The teen also told police that the instructor supplied her with cocaine before the alleged sexual encounters occurred.

Levy was arrested by Royal Oak police on Wednesday morning. He was arraigned in Royal Oak District Court at 3 p.m. on three counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct.

He's expected to return to court on Oct. 8 for a preliminary examination.

Levy is a former world-ranked kickboxing contender and martial arts expert, according to his club's Web site. He is the owner and founder of Ken Levy's Executive Boxing Club in West Bloomfield and Royal Oak.
