Here are some extracts of a letter written on December 2nd, 2009 by the German-Canadian revisionist prisoner Ernst Zündel, imprisoned only because of his ideas since February 5th, 2003 (yes: on 2003!).

Of the prison of Mannheim

I am soon going to spend what will be my 7th Christmas in prison and, I hope for it, the last one.

I would be amazed that these people do not plot any dishonest project before the date of my definitive liberation... Nothing stops them - and it is not a court, a judge, who shows the slightest independence in front of "Zeitgeist" (the spirit which reigns today).

This permanent propaganda which is similar to the Chinese torture of the droplet maintains these people firmly under the influence of their bosses. It is incredible, but true!

Beyond that, we launched another new judicial counter-attack with the Constitutional Court, the highest authority in Germany, because we refuse me the equality of the rights because I persist in maintaining my opinion on the history. We deposited the file on October 23rd, 2009 and we shall make it follow this week of a request of accelerated audience, given that it stays only 90 days by my liberation.

Consequently, if they drag feet - whatever they decide, it will be for the shape! Because we shall have to release me, having passed 7 years and 3 weeks imprisoned into 6 prisons, into 3 countries and on 2 continents!

There is of Orwell and the Kafka in all this.
