Police have arrested two men they suspect have been involved in mistreatment of Tonci Kursar, a professor at Zagreb University’s political science faculty.
One of the two men is a 57-year-old who threatened the professor after his daughter failed to pass an examination 20 times in one of his classes.
The other man is a 28-year-old employee of the 57-year-old.
The two men first verbally insulted the professor and threatened him in August 2008 and then dumped a bucket full of white construction material on his head six months later.
Kursar has been molested by them since last year and has even been physically attacked on two occasions, but police suspect someone else was responsible for that.
On 10 June this year, he was attacked with a wooden bat and after that received anonymous, threatening letters.
The last attack occurred at the end of last week in his building, when an unknown person sprayed something into his eyes and beat him with a rubber baton.
Professor plays hard..mostly to extort money from students...but he stumbled on wrong one student...girl have badasskick father...result: professor was beaten like dog. That isnt first time that someone beaten this professor.......who knows maybe next time someone criple him in affect.
