I’m somewhat adept at the HTML code and this forum code is apparently just like it with different bracketing but I’m having a heck of a time in trying to work this out. I’d like to put some links in my signature line but have the link as being the text I word instead of “http//…..etcetera”. I’ve tried numerous variations of the “a href=””/a code with differing brackets but can’t seem to get it to work. I hope I’m making myself clear here. RMcDonald’s sig links show an example of what I’m talking about.

I’d appreciate it if anybody could point me in the right direction with this one.

IN HOC SIGNO VINCES

there is the code for mine.
Is that what you were talking about?

That didn't work the way I planned it but you can hit reply with the quote and see the code, if that is what you was talking about.

See if that works and where is your snoopy troll avatar?

None of those thins worked so this is my 3rd edit.
Above the text indo there is a globe with a chain right beside the yellow box. That is how you insert a hyperlink.

Try that. It is right below the text size box.

Looks like this

That doesn't quite do what I'm asking Doc.

This is the code that should work. What I want to be seen as the link is 'Daily, Politically Correct News ' but the whole code shows up, why?

<a href="http://www.tonguetied.us/" target="_blank">Daily, Politically Correct News </a>

[=http://www.tonguetied.us/]MESSAGE[/]
This is how I interpret your instructions Doc. What am I overlooking?

I couldn’t put the symbols like [=/ and things like that so I had to type the word out instead of the symbol. Try omitting the / at the end of your url.

And then end the whole thing like this [/URL] instead of [/]

Go to the post right before this one ^ and I uploaded a txt file that has the link exactly as I typed it.

Just copy and past it and change the URL and link for whatever one you chose to use.

Thanks a million Doc!
You come up with an idea for an avatar that you'd like and I'll see what I can do for ya.
