TEHRAN (FNA)- Representative of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement to Tehran Naser Abusharif on Saturday voiced strong opposition to the resumption of talks with Israel, saying that negotiation with the Zionist regime is synonymous with trampling on the Palestinians and Muslims' rights.

"Pursuing any kind of negotiations with Israel means trampling on the rights of the Muslims and anyone attending these talks is an accomplice in trampling Muslims' rights," Abusharif added, addressing a conference held here in Tehran today to honor the resistance of the Palestinian people against the Zionist regime.

He warned that talks with Israel have always been designed to bring Muslims to compromise and give concessions to the criminal regime in Tel Aviv.

He said those who set the scene in previous negotiations with Israel aimed to make the Palestinians give up their right to the eastern territories, the right of the Palestinian expatriates to return to their homeland and to Judaize the occupied territories.

Abusharif expressed the hope that Palestinian-Israeli negotiations would yield no results, and underlined that the people in the Palestinian territories would continue their resistance.

He urged all Muslims to support the Palestinian resistance groups against the Zionist regime of Israel, stressing that if resistance continues, the rights of all Muslims will be restored.
