I couldn't agree more (although my hubby just owns a Dobie because I insisted on it, he's a Boxer guy)!! Too bad they put up a pic of a really ugly floppy eared one though :( that dog has waaay too much of a stop on it's nose and actually looks half Rottie to me...but her heart is in the right place. I don't recall ever meeting a man who had a Dobie who wasn't already married..guess the good ones are all taken, LOL. Re: that page- men own poodles?

That's the word from Wendy Diamond, founding editor of Animal Fair magazine, who dated 120 men in the name of science to create a guide to men based on their dogs. That works out to four men per breed.

I guess that makes her, ipso facto, one dumb bitch.

Hmmm...no German Shepherds. I wonder what that means? And I've been with my wife for 16 years. Hmmmm...

Being an amateur dog trainer myself, I will admit that German Shepherds are more intelligent than Dobies (Little Eva is sleeping, she will never know :p ). In fact, I would say there is no dog that is as trainable and loyal as a well bred Shepherd. Anything positive that can be said about Dobies can be said about Shepherds, multiplied a few times. Also, to add a bit to her analysis, I personally would take the care of the dog into consideration, like if I saw a guy who had a Dobie with floppy ears like the one in the picture, and he had owned it since puppyhood, I would wonder why he never got the ears done. Was he too cheap? Is he a tree-hugging freak that thinks animals have more rights than humans and should have to consent to elective surgery? Or was he just too lazy to find a vet? Number One would make me buy the kids' clothes at WalMart; Number Two, well, suffice it to say we just wouldn't get along; and Number Three, the kids are gonna need shots too!! And finding a good pediatrician is hard work!! On the other hand, if I wasn't already married and spotted a bald white guy with a goatee and lots of tattoos walking the dog pictured below, I would DEFINATELY be interested.

Ito - Master of Torture, seen here with pack (mobile ammo and survival supply system)

http://www.sskiweb.com/mobileammopack.jpg

I found this boy while making rounds of animal shelters looking for a good dog. I spotted him at his run door, happy as hell and super-smart looking, even though he had a huge sutured wound across his throat with a drainage tube coming out of it. Seems some niggers or spics where busted trying to use him for dog-fight bait. He, at that time, was a 5 month old puppy.

I asked the shelter manager if anyone was interested in him and she said, "No, in fact he's scheduled to be downed today". I told her I would take him. Whether she was pulling my leg or not about the big sleep, I don't know. It doesn't matter anyway.

He is super smart, tough and fearless. Has a bark like you wouldn't believe. He sites a nigger or spic and he's all teeth and hackles, and prefers to stand between me and the darky, (probably remembers who cut his throat). He wears his supply pack with pride, obeys instantly, and is one of the best investments of time and money I've spent in some time. I know that when I'm not home, he is and he would rip an intruder to shreds he hasn't been introduced to.

Breeders are cool if you have the money, but the local shelters are stocked with good dogs needing good homes. And a dog that's been done wrong by a nigger or spic and seems like he wants to tear one up everytime he sees one isn't bad either.

You folks have to differentiate between these clubs. For example, the Roti, Dobi, and Boxer people are nothing like most of the others at AKC events. They're normally, down-to-earth folks, not the snotty types primpin' and prissin' with their dog's hair, etc. Wash-n-wear, just like their dogs.

Sidenote: That Dobi looks like crap. Dock n' Crop, or don't have breeds that are made to be that way. However, that said, it's just a matter of time before all of Europe's Red, "humane" laws come here & we won't be able to show our animals in their traditional appearance.

Good looking pooch there. It's nice you were able to save a good specimen. What's the supply pack for?

The day that happens, I will get formal vet training and do my own crops. Herr Dobermann is probably rolling over in his grave with this animal liberation bullshit saying an ear crop is inhumane. Anyone ever think how a male dog feels when his balls are cut off? I would guess much, much worse. And they force that on you. I saved damn near $1000 working from home to make an investment for my family and our security and no fucking Vet is going to tell me ear cropping is inhumane. The dog was meant to attack humans, and while that has been bred out of them, I would like mine to at least look the part. That being said, Stan, fine looking Shepherd :D I have a pic of the one I attack trained who protects my parents, her name is Dixie and she is gorgeous. I'll try and edit out my child's pic so I can post it on here. She is more the tan/silver combo which looks good on bitches. She has police lines in her background which I suspect played into her ease of training.

Thank you for the compliment. He is a great dog.

I and my wife trained him to carry the pack. He can either carry his own supplies when we go hiking and camping. When we walk him to the store he gets the mission of carrying whatever we may buy that will fill it. In an imperfect situation he can carry bandages and bullets. All he knows is he has a mission. He gets a real serious way about him, the 'on point' thing as soon as he sees us break out the pack.

If the man picks the dog by breed, and that alone, this might have validity.

But for most people, decisions are more complex than that.

I've got a habit of being curious about what brands of cigarettes people smoke, but it's not as judgmental as the article quoted above. There are multiple reasons to pick a brand of smoke. Some smoke Marlboros because they like the taste (ick) but others do it for nostalgic reasons, or trust the tobacco quality more.

Goes to show me at least that the Jewish style of moral prejudgment by appearance is broken. (Note: I don't consider race to be "appearance.")

All I know about her is that her father was a working Police dog. A friend of mine who knew I was an animal lover called me and said, "If you don't come and get this dog right now, I'm going to kill it!" so of course I went and got her. He was probably 17 at the time and couldn't take the pressures of German Shepherd puppyhood. Crate training solved all her obedience issues and she has been an amazing pet since. When I moved to the not-so-nice part of town I asked my mother to foster her until I got settled in and then I realized it was only a matter of time before I had a lawsuit on my hands, as unlike the Dobies, she would really hurt someone. So I let mom keep her and she bought me another Dobie in return. Here is the most recent pic I have of her, taken in August:

Dude, as far as dogs are concerned, I'm partial to the nigger-scaring breeds. Dude, you know, the Bloodhounds, the Rottweilers, the German Shepherds, and the Dobermans who've been traditionally used to frighten niggers and make them think twice about getting an attitude.

Dude, when I was a kid I had a Bull Terrier named Buster who was like totally racist. Every time Buster encountered a nonwhite he would bark at 'em and on one occasion Buster chased a nigger down the street and forced 'em to climb on the roof of a neighbors car. The cars owner was this totally grumpy ol' man who apparently didn't like having a terrified nigger sitting on the roof of his car 'cause he ran outta his house with a baseball bat in his hands yelling in a shrill voice that echoed through the neighborhood at the nigger on top of his car. Buster, not at all distracted by the grumpy ol' man, continued to bark and growl at the nigger until my thoroughly amused friends and I arrived on the scene to get Buster and bring him home. I remember my friends and I laughing hysterically all the way home.

Dude, I totally miss that dog. :(
