The rage inside I can barely contain
like burning fire, I feel the pain.

It sears my soul, the hate I feel,
my children's future these people steal.

How can others fail to see, the deceit
the lies, and treachery.

Hate and love so deeply intertwined
sometimes I fear I'll lose my mind.

What is ours I wish to reclaim
no price too high to ease the pain.

Pride and honor and knowledge of right
Gleaming skin wrapped in flight,
Boots and braces, fists clenched tight.

Justice comes in the failing light.

Poetry by-passes the brain and goes to straight to the heart.......
