The sobbing mother of a 2-year-old girl left brain-damaged from severe child abuse was led from a Haverhill courthouse in shackles yesterday after being charged with allowing her boyfriend to repeatedly beat her daughter.

Sarah Comeau, 24, cried throughout her Haverhill District Court arraignment, at which Judge Kevin Herlihy ordered her held on $1,000 cash bail.

``We have a number of witnesses who will testify that she knew Derick Epps was violent with this child,'' Essex Assistant District Attorney Kathe Tuttman told the judge after suggesting Comeau be held on $10,000 bail.

Comeau was arrested Wednesday night on a warrant charging her with allowing serious bodily injury to a child and reckless endangerment of a child.

Tuttman said Comeau did nothing to stop the alleged abuse by Derick Epps, 27, of Roxbury, who is charged with beating and shaking Veronica ``Tina'' Gonzalez so violently the toddler suffered brain damage and may be left blind. She remained in critical condition yesterday at Children's Hospital in Boston.

Comeau's attorney, David Stuehr, said his client denied any knowledge of Epps beating her daughter.

``She's devastated by what happened to her daughter,'' Stuehr said in convincing Herlihy to set the lower bail amount. ``She had a bad man in her life. She's spent all morning praying for her daughter and asks everyone to pray for her daughter.''

Tuttman said Comeau's friends and relatives pointed out injuries on the girl that Comeau should have known were caused by Epps. Comeau and Epps allegedly told the police the girl was injured falling down stairs.

This woman looks like a crack whore. It is disturbing enough when a white woman brings some nigger around her white children, but then to allow them to abuse her child? It is too bad her beloved nigger boyfriend didn't abuse her and leave her with brain damage also, of course for that to happen she would need to have a brain in the first place and this slut obviously doesn't.

There has not been a White man with an Anglo-Saxon surname in the Roxbury section of Boston since about 1800. Its a damm certain assumption. The little girl could have been fathered by a White Hispanic,although given this womans proclivities, I do doubt that Antonio Banderas or Ricardo Montalban was the daddy. This article actually made me feel better about what has been going on around here. I recently had the responsibility of calling the police and DCFS on a person I had been friends with since kindergarten. She married a nigger, and of course he beat her. She has 3 beautiful White children and this story is exactly what I was afraid of happening to them.

It's sad, but this kind of article will appear more and more often. Unless more people butt it where they don't belong and call the right people. Yes the moms in both instances and traitors and idiots. Yes, I feel they deserve everything they get..but the children are the ones being abused. The children, more often than not, have no voice in these situations.

I gave 3 children a voice. I let people know how they were living, because they were too frightened to. It's terrible that nobody knew or worried about what was going on with the little girl in the story...until it was too late.

What Diablo said made sense, regarding the Boston neighborhood of this Epps fellow. Niggers typically have Anglo-Saxon names - e.g., Smith, Jones, Tyson, etc. - because the country, certainly the Southern ruling class up until the the end of the Civil War, was of that ethnic stock. Hence they were given the names of the owners, who were English, Scottish, or Scotch-Irish. That's why you don't see many blacks with names of, say, for instance, Prestova, Muller, Hernandez, etc.

Right, this was not an attack on real Anglo-Saxons. Its just that in that neighborhood in particular and in the NE US in general most Whites will have names like O'Brian, Russo, Melemdez, Steinmann, Swensen, Kolwaski etc, since most Whites here descend from Italian,German, Irish, White Hispanic Norse, Greek, etc This is not always true of other regions of the country.

I recall, somewhere along the line, hearing about a legleslative act concerning this French-Canadian migration - especially to New Hampshire. I can't remember under which administration, but I think it was in the middle of the 19th century. There was considerable concern with the F.C.s gaining too much political clout in the region.

I never knew, however, that the migration went so far south, at least enmass. Perhaps, considering the large Irish population and their inherent leftism coupled with the F.C.s traditional leftism, this might explain why Massachusetts is so friggin' Red.
