On another thread, a poster at VNNF questioned how much power the Jews have 'behind the scenes.' I suggested, and I maintain, that the Jews have incredible power behind the scenes.

If there is any example of the quiet power that world Jewry has, it is what happened after the USS Liberty was attacked by Israel in 1967. The Jews actually had history re-written to serve Jewish interests. If that is not power, what is?

You can scratch reason one. Remember the Vietnam War is one of the major issues of the current Presidential campaign.

That is why the web is not going to be free for long.

Here is the scenario Jews produce Porn spam, Jews cry about porn spam destroying our children. The masses agree pass anti porn spam laws. Once complete freedom is breeched then the Jews crusade against other forms of freedom on the net until it is similar to the Jewspapers.

Time is short and we should enjoy, exploit and use our internet freedom while we can.

Right now we have two options with the web.
1. Fly completely below radar

Israel attacked the USS Liberty using UNMARKED AIRCRAFT. This is the single fact which proves Israel knew exactly who they were attacking. Israel's story is that they thought USS Liberty was an Egyptian ship and therefore a legitimate target of war. Were that true, there would be no reason to attack a supposedly Egyptian ship with unmarked aircraft. The only possible reason to use unmarked aircraft to attack the ship is that Israel knew it was an American ship and intended to sink it, then to blame the attack on Egypt.

AS in the case of the Iraq war this would be profitable for Israel if the US had to fight an enemy near Israel.

By engaging in a US Egypt war Israel would be an ideal place to position troops (money from the troops) weapons (hey who cares if the left over stuff goes to Israel) increased support of America increased business for Israel and to further strengthen the “Israel is our only ally” myth.

Remember at that time Israel was trying to grow beyond it’s boundaries and a convenient war would have enabled them to destroy all their enemies and they would have easily taken more land.

Don’t forget they were at war with Egypt, so this would have caused the good old US of A to do their fighting while Israel sat on the sidelines and racked in the money.

The Vietnam War is an issue in the Presidential campaign because of the Swift Boat Vets' ads attacking Kerry, and negative campaign ads tend to be effective.

Raising the issue of the USS Liberty benefits neither the Republicans nor the Democrats, so a push at the grassroots level probably has to happen for the case to re-opened.

Also the Holocaust was (supposedly) sixty years ago and we never hear the end of that.

And the Jewish 'Exodus' from Egypt (which they claim was an escape from slavery but which is more likely the first recorded instance of the jews getting kicked out of a country) was 2500 years ago and the myth surrounding it is still talked about. In fact it's the foundation of our dominant religion.

So it all depends on what story is good for jews. If the USS Liberty was a profitable myth for the powers that be, they would find ways to keep it alive in our memories.

Typically I wouldn't respond to your post, as it is motivated mostly by ad hominem attack, but yes that is one of the theories out there.

This would be extreme gamble on the Israeli's to pull this off, and with very little chance of the ruse to be a success. Also Muslims were not much of an issue for the West in 1967.
