That's because I own a good few volumes from Revilo Oliver's and his wife's personal library. That chap is being extortionate at best.

Since you've made several posts with a link to the auction, I think maybe you're the one trying to sell it, Lyndsi.

No. What I am saying; if you pay attention to my wording, is that:

A) The book is just one of numerous volumes from Oliver's library.

B) That I own numerous volumes from Oliver's library as I bought them from another dealer and they have his and/or his wife's stamp on them with their old address on it.

C) That the book; which may or may not be part of Oliver's huge collection, is massively over-priced as the seller is trying to claim it is unique because it was part of Oliver's collection. For example I bought Oliver's edition of Ramsay's 'The Nameless War' for $10, which is also quite rare in that edition.

By way of example: I own an original German copy of Johann Andreas Eisenmenger's 'Entdecktes Judenthum' and that only fetches $1,700-$2,000 on the open market. So how on earth is the book listed worth the $26,000 on the asking price (on 'Buy it now')?

I see its been taken down or been removed by Ebay. If you want to sell it for a reasonable rather than lunatic price I suggest Abebooks not Ebay.
