The age-old question, “Which came first, the chicken or the egg?” has finally been answered by the British scientists, who claim that it was the chicken that led the way.

Researchers at the universities of Sheffield and Warwick used a powerful computing tool called meta-dynamics and a super computer in Edinburg to solve the age-old riddle.

Researchers found the answer to the question in the eggshell. They said that a protein, called ovocledidin-17, which plays a vital role in the formation of the eggshell, led them the answer to the riddle.

They said essential ingredient ovocledidin-17 can only be produced inside a chicken, which proves that the chicken came first.

Commenting on the topic, Dr. Colin Freeman of Sheffield University said, “It had long been suspected that the egg came first, but now we have the scientific proof that shows that in fact the chicken came first.”

Another researcher at Sheffield University, Prof. John Harding, said the knowledge of how chickens produce egg shells could provide them with further clues towards designing new materials as well as processes.

The "scientific" answer is bullshit! THE EGG CAME FIRST.

Why?

Consider: all chickens come from eggs, but not all eggs come from chickens viz. goose eggs, duck eggs, spider & insect eggs, human eggs, dinosaur eggs, robins eggs, eagle eggs, turtle eggs - get the idea?

So, although all eggs do not come from chickens by any stretch of the imagination, it is nonetheless true that all chickens do come from eggs - they sure as hell don't come from any where else.

The very first chicken likely came from an egg that was almost, but not quite, a chicken egg. What popped out was just a bit different - the first chicken! Thereafter, that chicken laid chicken eggs and other chickens were propagated.

So the egg came first. QED
