In a local Swiss newspaper 20 Minuten there is a poll.
The question being asked is: "Do you want to see the PNOS banned?"

I would apprecate any support from nationalists in Europe.

I've spread this about the "Weltnetz" and already we have raised one point to 48% NO / 52% YES.

I have voted "Nein" and it is still 48% NO / 52% YES.

I also voted "Nein" and it is now 49% NO and 51% yes.

Couldn't sleep so popped in to have a look. It's 52% NEIN now ... so we have turned the tide. :)

The PNOS chairman Jonas Gysin wrote me a short note saying he was pleased the way the result was improved. Thanks to everyone.

I voted yesterday, Lord Playfair e-mailed the link to a few of us.
He got it off stormfront or something.

Here is the question to the poll:
"Die junge FDP Wallis verlangt vom Bundesrat, die PNOS zu verbieten. Soll die rechtsextreme Partei verboten werden?"

The Young FDP (Swiss Liberals) from Valais, Switzerland has demanded that the Federal Council (the upper house) ban the PNOS (Party of National Orientated Swiss). Question: Should the extreme-right party be banned?

My (slightly biased) political assessment: :o
It is not really surprising that the FDP takes this sort of position. For some time they have been a flip-flop party, one moment this, the other moment that. For instance, Christa Marktwalder is most probably more left-wing that many a SP member (socialist). On the other hand Steinegger or Müller actually stand very much to the right.

But what can one expect from a party which is continuously in search of itself?
It has been suggested that FDP should be renamed “Freisinnig-Denunziantische Petzen” = Free-thinking Denunciation Sneaks. :D

The CVP (Christian People’s Party) and the FDP (Free-thinking Democratic Party = Liberals) are both going down the political tubes – but no one is really troubled by that except for a few big business bosses and some misguided Christians. The CVP are particularly ridiculous when one considers they have the word “Christian” in their name and Muslims and ragheads in their party. I consider the Grünen to be more serious. *ROTFLMFWAO*

It is also a fact that the FDP, the mother party to the Young FDP, is fighting for its life so that the youth movement is trying to get in some cheap media attention – so what do they do? - they shout “Racist”.

One is accustomed to the fact that from the FDP one does not get served with their own politically relevant opinions any more. No, the best they can do is to hit out at the smaller PNOS.
