God, I hate California. Every time I watch the movie SUPERMAN
I cheer when the nuke detonates on the San Andreas fault line.
(by the way...do you know what the opposite of Christopher
Reeve is? Christopher Walken.) I've been to Los Angeles once
and I've been to Hollywood once and once was more than enough.
But what has refreshed my ire recently is a story I read
yesterday out of Berkeley. This is fruitloop central, folks.
The heart of darkness. The wave of fagness starts right here
and doesn't crest until about Denver where it turns into
Colorado's own special blend of hippy. But let's stick with
California for the time being.
This will give you an idea why all the power and water to
California needs to be turned off for a hundred years until
it reverts back to a wilderness. There is a program in
Berkeley which provides for storing abandoned garbage in a
giant refrigerated container.
What this program is aimed at are the grubby, retarded
indigents who wander around the city pushing shopping carts
full of garbage in front of them. You've probably seen these
kinds of people in your own city. They push these shopping
carts around and slowly fill them up with garbage. Then,
when the shopping cart gets full they abandon it and find
another shopping cart to fill up. They do this because they
are crazy, homeless fuckers!
What the city of Berkeley started doing was collecting these
abandoned shopping carts and keeping them in a warehouse,
just in case some crazy homeless person woke up behind a
dumpster one morning and said to him or herself, "Damn! I
left my Rolex in that last shopping cart full of crap I
abandoned last night."
Unfortunately, when you keep tons of shit, crap and rubbish
in a big warehouse for months at a time under a Summer son,
it starts to stink like Courtney Love's snatch and attract
thousands of rats (which is how she originally got Kurt
Cobain, by the way).
So, bulldoze the warehouse and then burn it to the ground.
Problem solved, right? Not in fucking California. The city
of Berkeley spent $61,500 for a giant refrigerated container
where they now keep homeless people's garbage for them frozen.
That was just the initial cost. To keep the program going
costs about another $3,000 per year.
If that is not a reason to give California back to Mexico I
don't know what is. And it's not like the city is swimming
in cash. Berkeley is facing a $7.5 million deficit. Hey, I
have an idea...let's spend nearly a hundred thousand dollars
to freeze shit! That'll stimulate tax revenue.
So here's your homework assignment. If you ever meet anybody
from California I want you to kick him or her right in the
face. Unless, of course, they moved out of California because
they finally realized what a shit factory that place really
is...in which case a short finger jab to the windpipe or
perhaps an eye-gouge will be enough...just to let them know
that they suck for the simple fact of coming from there in
the first place.
