Dear Jan! Many thanks for the beautiful download on the Hejaz Railway! It is amazing how long those pre-World War I steam locomotives can last, when they receive normal maintenance. Those same locomotives were the work-horses of the railways in Colombia, South America. Most of them had plates on their boilers which stated “Skoda Werken, Österreich,” which meant that they were pre-First World War, since Skoda was deeded over to the bastard state of Czechoslovakia after 1918. More modern locomotives, especially diesels, could not be repaired, so they lined up on a track for derelict locomotives in the railway yards in Cali. American locomotives from the 1890s also ran quite well, so I gathered that Colombia’s railway technology could only cope with locomotives of that period! Rhodesia’s main motive power was also steam, & the ugly, but efficient Beyer-Garrat locomotives were formidable, as compared to the U.S. “Big Boy” Mallets.
South African Railways had a contest between a Mallet & a Beyer-Garrat over the same line with the same consist in regard to weight & waggons. The Beyer-Garrat made the run in one third less time than the Mallet, although both locomotives were the same weight, approximately. The Garrats were noted for their flexibility & weight distribution, which allowed them to round curves at good speed. You can imagine the awkwardness of the Mallet rounding a curve with its boiler pointing almost at a 90° angle to the direction of the locomotive! The Garrat boiler followed the direction of the track. Garrats could be run at full speed on concrete sleepers, unlike most “straight” steam locomotives, because of the balance & weight distribution. As you probably know, the Mallet & Garrat principle was to run two locomotive units off a single boiler. The normal “straight” or single-frame locomotive is a 4-8-4 wheel arrangement, the longest being a 4-10-4 arrangement which cannot negotiate curves on most rail lines. A Mallet wheel arrangement would be 4-8-8-4, whereas a Garrat of the same type would be 4-8-2 + 2-8-4. The great advantage of the Garrat was that the boiler was suspended between the two locomotive units of bogies & driving wheels, so its firebox was huge, unlike that of the Mallet whose firebox size was hindered by wheels & axles.
I asked a rail hobbiest why the U.S. never used Garrats, & he said that the U.S. railroads did not like the slight variation in tractive effort caused by the fact that the Garrat carried the water & fuel on its driving wheels, while the Mallets carried their fuel & water in a separate tender! I really doubt the validity of that reasoning, for a pencil & paper calculation could figure the exact amount of lost tractive effort at a given distance with a given load.
The British agreed that the Garrat was a very ugly locomotive, regardless of its speed & power, so maybe the Americans were also influenced by its appearance, rather than its high performance. Then, too, General Motors was pushing for conversion of locomotives from steam to diesel by blackmailing those railroads which hauled raw materials, parts & finished vehicles for the U.S. auto industry: “Dieselize or else!” was their message. Sorry to sound like such an old railroad man, but that’s what I am, from Santa Fe to Rhodesia Railways. Most of my rail travel was on steam trains, which is strange in the latter half of the 20th century, but I have also travelled more sea miles than air miles. And I’m not that old!
I like that subversive idea of claiming that there is gold buried near certain sites. A rumor could be started that there is “Confederate gold” or “Yankee gold” buried around all sorts of strategic locations. What a mess that would create! It would be similar to the many thefts of manhole covers in Colombia, which catch traffic as well as pedestrians. The manhole covers are iron, not gold, but the thieves are quite enthusiastic, anyway. When they begin to disappear in Brownest Yakima, we will know that The Turd World has arrived in force. The drug-addicts are responsible for a crime wave in this area, for they steal whatever can be sold for drug-money or for making their favorite drug: methamphetamine or “speed,” “crank” or whatever else they call it. They also steal gaseous ammonia for drug-making. I still have a laugh imagining these desperadoes attempting to steal balloons full of ammonia from farmers’ fertilizer tanks. Ha! Our tourist streetcar (tram) was put out of action by the theft of a section of its overhead power line. Copper is also like gold for thieves who sell it for scrap. How do we distinguish between crime, incompetence & terrorism? Answer: we can’t! The results are the same to one degree or another.
Yes, the riddle which T.E. Lawrence solved is intriguing. Current military jargon refers to “asymmetrical warfare”, which is, as I understand, the Lawrence strategy against the Turks. It involves the principle of judo: the use of an opponent’s own strength against him. I believe that the jew is only as strong as we make him, for he is a parasite, after all. Dope peddlers prosper because idiots buy their dope. Banksters profit because we become debt-slaves through our own decisions. That’s why I advise Whites to shun TV & stay debt-free. P.S.: It is in the nature of thinking that more thoughts may be stimulated, which has just occurred. There have been quite a few instances of waging asymmetrical warfare, such as Hermann’s success over the Romans, Roman General Fabian’s eventual success over the Carthaginians, & Sun Tzu’s legendary tale of the weaker general who defeats the stronger general by luring him into an ambush. There are other successful examples, just as there are examples of defeats, in which the weaker opponent is totally destroyed by the fact of his weakness. Mao Tse Tung’s Red Army was almost defeated by Chiang Kai-shek’s forces under the command of General von Seeckt, if I recall the name correctly, but Chiang’s mistake was to let Mao escape. Mao was thus given time to lick his wounds & to develop new forces with new strategies.
The Japanese conquests & occupations of Chinese territory were another factor in this Chinese civil war. According to Chalmers Johnson, Mao was able to convert this Japanese stumbling block into his steppingstone for mobilizing the Chinese peasantry, first against the Japanese & then against Chiang. War is indeed politics (people-power) by other means, according to Clausewitz, & Sun Tzu identifies all aspects of human behavior as aspects of war, which the superior general uses to his advantage before the 1st shot is even fired.
What is war? My definition is: More of us & fewer of them on their territory; more of us & fewer of them on our territory. War is demographic & geographic. Drugs are an excellent example of chemical warfare & the invasion of infected immigrants would illustrate an example of biowarfare, just as a birthrate differential within a territory would be biowarfare. If the victims &/or target peoples do not fight back, such non-military means of warfare can be just as deadly & as effective as bombardments, & much more advantageous to the enemy, who profits at the expense of his victims. When a general succeeds in getting his opponent to pay him for attacking him, then victory is sweet, indeed! This is what we do when we provide alien invaders with the fruits of our labor, in the form of taxes, & when we give these invaders our jobs & our livingspace. I guess we might call this suicidal warfare on our part, like the proverbial lemmings.
As a young army recruit in basic training, I was told to use surprise, concealment & stealth to attack an enemy. The best time to attack him is when he is asleep, unwary, & unprepared for combat. Our job is to be awake, alert & prepared for combat, always. This is the way to win.
Basically, Whites are fast asleep. Maybe they will wake up to their situation. The danger is that our racial awakening may be much too late. But what will we do when or if we do wake up? Will we want to fight for our racial survival, or will we wish to roll over & go back to sleep? If there is no desire for survival, all the means to survive are useless, for we won’t use them. If the desire to survive is there, then we can obtain the means necessary to achieve our goal. A writer claimed that Americans had freedom because they had their own firearms & Europeans did not. That is, to use the German expression, “Quatsch” (rubbish), for possession of firearms does not mean they will be used to defend anything. As I wrote previously, peoples who have given up their guns & their countries are, among others, Whites in Britain, Canada & Australia. Whites in Rhodesia, South Africa & the USA kept their guns & gave their countries away to non-Whites.
One thing which makes jews strong is their community, which is to be found all over the world. Community begins with agreement on purpose. Purpose creates a community of like-minded members who tend to live in close proximity, & they also have links to other like-minded communities. Members of such communities have a common identity, which is the basis for common interests. Such attributes provide for common standards of behavior, which, for jews, is something of a miracle! Jews tend to agree on their ends, but not on their means to achieve them. They are divided by an ancient tension, plus their own lies & illusions. Some wish to achieve a small territory called Israel, which governs the world to its advantage, while the big jews wish to obtain the entire world, which they can call “Israel”, as they choose. The Zionist Occupied Palestine or “Israel” of today is for little jews, & is a present to them from the big jews such as the Rothschilds & Rockefellers. Theodor Herzl would have found it very difficult to publish his Zionist treatise, “Der Judenstaat”, had it not been funded by the Rothschilds, for example.
Clearly, what makes jews strong can also make Whites strong. As Douglas Reed pointed out: Group identity & interests rely upon the group’s EXCLUSIVITY. Groups are destroyed by INCLUSIVITY. This is why jews are exclusive, while they want every one else to be inclusive, that is, all mixed up. They know that a relatively small number of organized people can defeat a much more numerous, but disorganized, mob. Our key to success is ORION! (Our Race Is Our Nation!)
