Curious if anyone on here can. It's not that difficult after you figure out the 2nd step. Winner will be rewarded with what is described in the final step.

Should probably clarify before anyone wastes their time. You probably need to know basic cryptography, how web servers work, metadata, how to use a hex editor, an idea of a certain file format once you decrypt it (the first two bytes of the file will give a hint once it's decrypted), and like one or two Linux commands maybe- there's a Windows version of the encryption/decryption software too, so Linux isn't needed. It's not an advanced encryption method though once you get to that point. Once you get the string there's something that needs to be done to it before it can be decrypted. Maybe I should have made this thing more straight forward in the initial steps.

Also the reward isn't money or anything like that. Nothing special at all really, mostly just silly. I just thought it would be a fun game to see if anyone could figure it out. Don't put off doing anything important to figure this out, cause you'll be pissed when you don't get anything (other than bragging rights). lol.


Edit 1: ..... fuck i just realized this was more difficult than I first thought. But it mostly lies in the fact that people might not know what needs to be done next.
