View Full Version : BNP Accounts - what's going on?

From BNP website
The New Labour regime conducted another Police raid on the family home of a former BNP official this morning, seizing a computer and paperwork.
The raid on the family home of John Brayshaw occurred this morning (Thursday 30th) with four uniformed officers from North Yorkshire Police and one Special Branch detective in attendance.
John himself was neither questioned, arrested or detained. There is no suggestion that the Police plan to make any charges against him or any knowledge why this particular raid took place.
Old paperwork
The paperwork removed relates solely to the Central Accounting Unit of the BNP. This is an extraordinary development and seems to serve no obvious purpose regarding the accounts of the Party.
First of all, Mr. Brayshaw our former treasurer ceased to act in that capacity in June 2004 when the task of National Treasurer was taken over by John Walker. Thus the material seized by the Police is significantly out of date and relates to previous financial years. Yesterday John Walker submitted the full Central Accounting Unit Accounts to the Electoral Commission (EC) for the last financial year. This follows an agreed extension to the deadline as a result of a delay in acquiring the services of an independent qualified accountant prepared to work on our behalf to audit the accounts. So the raid was not designed to delay our accounts submission and cause the Party to fall foul of the EC regulations. If the State wanted to see our accounts, instead of disrupting the family home of John Brayshaw and wasting Police time, an examination of the submitted and audited accounts would have been a much simpler task.
Furthermore, the Electoral Commission denies any involvement in the raid. When National Treasurer, John Walker contacted the EC this afternoon, he was told by the Compliance Officer, Robert Sprent, that the EC had no idea why the Police should be interested in such paperwork and denied that the EC had initiated the raid. The BNP extends its support and appreciation to John Brayshaw and sends his family, who were deeply upset by the violation of their private home, a happy and wish-fulfilled New Year.
Questions:-
a) Brayshaw resigned his membership of the BNP 3 weeks ago and rang them saying he wanted nothing to do with them.
b) Yesterdays initial BNP site posting did not mention his name
c)If the EC say its not they were behind the police raid (no charges just accounting documents seized) then why would the police bother with Brayshaw? The harrasments smokescreen is getting a bit thin! If its purely harrassment- why Brayshaw who they know has stepped down as Treasurer and now even as a member ( 3 weeks before raid) and not a bigger fish? If they wanted to disrupt as is claimed why not go for current officers? It doesn't make sense even from a ZOG police force???
Any ideas anybody? They are saying the accounts are finally in and John Walker rang the EC who denied any involvement - well they would woudn't they? What IS going on????

Had Brayshaw retained copies of documents that the government wished to see destroyed?
Documents that might have compromised the Griffin gang?

One should also be asking what documents Brayshaw has had access to regarding membership records and if any members or former members of the BNP in North Yorkhire can expect to receive any attention?

Never keep names and adresses and tel numbers together, use nick names. NEVER keep a diary. What emails as they are not safe and remember encription doesnt work. When calling Comrades use call boxes. MAIN RULE: Never use your real surname. When meeting people or going on an action dont carry id. try and travel there by bus or train as cars have reg plates. Al old C18 methods that have never been used enough. PM Storm for more does and donts. He will help keep you out of the nick. :D

When joining a membership based group like the BNP be aware that the state plants are often trying to get hold of members details (and as shown by the past often succeding) as one of their main aims. In joining and giving your name and address and sending a cheque you have handed over all the details the state wants. Then you attend meetings that the state knows all about because of informers and get your photo taken to add to your file.....
Next you speak to a friendly "good nationalist" at the meeting and tell him your name and where you come from.... the "good nationalist" is an informed and everything is tied neatly together. At this stage you are getting closer to a police raid and some time inside all the time.

This thread is now way off course. Perhaps a new thread on security should be opened. I was asking for opinions ref the accounts. If we wanted an underground resistance movement then yes let's all adopts pseudonyms. If we want a mass movement then we have to live and combat State plants in a rational manner. The way forward? The building of a mass Movement of the White people or an underground cadre organisation? I have never gone for the C18 method. It doesn't fit Britain. This idea only works where the Resistance can camouflage itself into a wider supportive population - ie China/Vietnam?Northern Ireland etc...the only real attempt at a covert underground 'The Order' in the States ended in heroic but predicable disaster. They had no popular base and stuck out like sore thumbs. The State will find out what the state wants to find out. I have had to live with traitors like Hill, Hepple and Sykes together with SB etc for decades as have many other veterans - but false names may give you some respite from the States attacks but they will never give you popular support. Are we expecting the White people of Britain to join a spy ring? If the general public think that by joining the BNP or whatever they will have to adopt the measures outlined above then they just are not going to.
This does not mean sensible precautions should not be taken in building the National Movement. An Internal Security echelon has never been built and in its stead there has arisen a 'Stalinist' hysteria where we all point at each other calling each other 'plants, assets, moles, traitors, Jews' etc etc ad nauseum - all to the great delight of our Enemy.
One of our worst enemies are those amongst the National Movement who get off on swaggering about talking big, dressing like cliched Nazis, and going on about Direct Action, weapons etc. Avoid these people like the plague. They are the ones who provoke the raids and they are the ones who usually land in trouble along with gullible young comrades with little experience. Big mouths, big egos and small minds,.
The NSDAP suffered bans, infiltration, treason, raids, red attacks, murder, near bankruptcy but it still won out!
As Rockwell quite rightly states - "The path to the Palace lies through the dungeons" - if you are not prepared to stand up openly and fight for your beliefs then you should not be in the struggle.

Yes and No. The subject is of great importance, but is not, by definition, one that should be discussed openly. Armies don't debate their options in the newspapers, after all.
The way forward? The building of a mass Movement of the White people or an underground cadre organisation?
It requires both.
Things have moved on. We are not in the 1930's. A 'straight' overground will be defeated every time. All they have to do is fiddle the ballot papers. Like they did last time.
I have never gone for the C18 method. It doesn't fit Britain.
Neither does ZOG. But we've got it, just the same. The enemy is flexible, we are not. That's why we are losing.
This idea only works where the Resistance can camouflage itself into a wider supportive population...
Again, it requires both.
... false names may give you some respite from the States attacks but they will never give you popular support.
Of course not. But that's confusing the overground with the underground.
Are we expecting the White people of Britain to join a spy ring?
Some of them, yes.
If the general public think that by joining the BNP or whatever they will have to adopt the measures outlined above then they just are not going to.
Again, there is confusion here.
An Internal Security echelon has never been built ...
Many of those who have opposed this have themselves later been exposed as state assets. Go figure.
... and in its stead there has arisen a 'Stalinist' hysteria where we all point at each other calling each other 'plants, assets, moles, traitors, Jews' etc etc ad nauseum - all to the great delight of our Enemy.
This is true. A proper security apparatus would tame this.
Big mouths, big egos and small minds.
This is true - for the overground. As for the underground - who's to say?
The NSDAP suffered bans, infiltration, treason, raids, red attacks, murder, near bankruptcy but it still won out!
True, but they had a massive behind the scenes operation too. How did they continue to function, even when they were banned? How did newspapers and magazines get printed?
They went underground of course - using an organisation that had already been set up in anticipation of such a move.
What happens if everything is banned tomorrow? If they clamp down on the internet? The answer? We're finished. We've got nothing else.
As Rockwell quite rightly states - "The path to the Palace lies through the dungeons" - if you are not prepared to stand up openly and fight for your beliefs then you should not be in the struggle.
Real soldiers know the value of intelligence and camouflage too. The idea is not to make heroic but unproductive sacrifices, but to hurt the enemy, and to keep on hurting him for as long as possible.

Odin's Eye knows less than the SG about Brayshaw. He was phoned in December about a BNP matter and he told them he wanted no contact with the BNP and no correspondence and that he had resigned.

Not to my knowledge, he is a strange cove. I worked with him in the early 90's when he first joined. He was ok but intensly suspicious of everyone - he once told me off for calling him John in public has he didn't want his first name known! John - obviously a rather uncommon one????? It is pretty definite he has resigned by the way.

I heard he had resigned ages ago, and that he was going to write a book. I hope the police haven't taken that off his computer. I was so looking forward to reading it. ;)

That would explain it.
They wouldn't want anything nasty published about their chum Griffin, would they?

I know. It's pathetic. They think they're "stars"; major players or something. Ego-trippers who actually think they have something to say; something that people will pay good money to know. I don't even think that Searchlies would be interested in buying their stories. It's pathetic.

BTW eddym_14... I hate to sound like I'm paranoid. However, John Brayshaw is either very smart or very stupid. You took note of his behavior in the early 90's. Maybe his behavior was just the discomfort of being a plant. Isn't it curious that John Brayshaw let it be known that he was writing a book... and then subsequently his house gets raided? Then the police end-up with the names of BNP members as well as the memoirs of Brayshaw. Jackpot! And all they had to do was raid the residence.
This little episode would put Mr. Brayshaw under immediate suspicion in my book.

I think that if Brayshaw was arrested for the purpose of providing names, then they left it way too late. The same goes for party finances, as he has not been involved for some time.
Funnily enough, the rumour I heard was that he was going to the USA, where he would write a book exposing the sexual exploits of Mr & Mrs Griffin, amongst other things. If the preliminary information was correct, this book would have been most dammaging to the party leadership. Thus depriving the police with their top man on the inside!

I have heard about the Griffin family thing too. Normally I would preclude that sort of stuff. But being as some, including Treacy and Lecomber, amongst others, seem intent on major character assassinations, then they are also open to this sort of stuff. I and EW remember Griffin telling us of some sexual escapades with a donkey . We had never heard this from anyone except Nick himself.

Doesnt come as a surprise really that they've raided Brayshaw. The accounts for the period 1st Jan. 2003 - 31st Dec. 2003 have been an ongoing concern all year with the 'will they won't they' get them in on time. And he was in charge during this period and the one ultimately responsible for them so its natural they would give him a shake to see what drops out.
There was a series of excuses given to explain the delay firstly it was the lack of an auditor prepared to put his/her name to them then it was because of the decision to close the BNP's bank accounts firstly at Barclays then HSBC after. Perhaps there are possible discrepancies with regard to them and the Police are seeing what they can find.
Brayshaw is one of the few to leave who hasnt had the smear treatment even though he stepped down in mysterious and still unexplained circumstances and you could have missed it if you blinked. There's a good chance he knows where a lot of bodies are buried and he was originally moved to another department within the BNP. He had the dubious distinction of being one of the most odious jobsworths in the BNP but seemed like Tony Lecomber to be able to insult or upset anyone without worrying about being brought to book about it.
Due to the lack of transpanrancy and obssesive secrecy within the leadership of the BNP we are all left to speculate. Perhaps he cocked up the accounts and that is why he stood down in June and they've had to re-do them or perhaps he wasnt prepared to 'hide' any of the 'unusual' spending. If there is a financial scandal about to break then it'll be a lot more damaging than anything the BBC or the Mirror can throw at them. Many can forgive or happily go along with policy changes, gaffes, candidates of questionable backgrounds, etc. but when it comes to possibly mismanaging or defrauding members who have stumped up cash then thats a different matter all together. Now the accounts have finally been submitted they will be available on line soon via the Electoral Commissions website and I'm sure quite a few people will be studying them.
