say, who put together the old book catalog? what a wonderful collection of titles. who recommended the book "turning the sky around" about Wagner, by M Owen Lee? I bought it a couple years back and have enjoyed it ever since. I just picked up a second book by the author about wagner too.

that would be jerry abbot.....Jenab here.

well this other one is called "Athena Sings: Wagner and the Greeks" and it's about drama, and Wagner as musical drama.

Nietzche saw Wagner as "a new Aeschylus"

I was wondering how such a damn good series on Wagner was picked out of the tons of stuff written out there about him.

btw-- M Owen Lee is apparently a Roman Catholic priest.
