At the recommendation of a friend (just for curiosities sake, he himself didnt really know what to say about the book) I got a 200 page book from the library called The Big Book of Conspiracies. Its actually a big comic book about lots and lots of "conspiracies". From Kennedy all the way to Aliens.
I starting reading it at about 8pm and its now 4am. I read it straight though. I found it somewhat enjoyable even though it was definately a "left leaning" with Marxist infusion. Lots of connections between occults, Nazis, aliens, etc. Some interesting information about Nazi dealings with American government officials, OSS/CIA..you get the idea. I dont know how much of it is true but I'm sure theres probably some truth behind there. Ive just never done any research into it.
It really is a rather interesting comic book. Humor for some, scary info for others. I didnt really know how to take it. It was just interesting. The very last conspiracy is basically in the end described as the biggest conspiracy of all - human existence, and how we may really be just a big farm for aliens. How aliens manipulate the events occuring on Earth so that everything happens over and over.
Its a trip I must say. Definately something to get from your library if you can, if not for curiosity then perhaps for humor.
I dont know what really is real and what is not. On one hand you could say there is no proof that something exists yet is there proof that it doesnt exist? This of course can be applied to anything. For example, if I say that I'm from another dimension, I may not necessarily have proof but do you have proof to discreit it? Just sort of a weird thing.
I dont know where we have come from, but I do know where we are, and thats the most important thing. If even only a little bit of the weirdest "conspiracy theories" are true, it doesnt matter. Because...is there really anything us mortals can do about it?
Side note: It even contains some stuff about Et In Arcadia Ego, Merovingians, etc. You guys will probably recognize some stuff from our long banned poster Et En Arcadia Ego.
