THIS is the man who was seen performing a lewd act by a young woman who was out riding her horse.
Mouhoub Bennafa (44) also threatened another man with a rock and said he would "rape him in the bushes", in a separate incident two days later.
He had denied charges of indecency and public order offences, claiming the witnesses had failed to properly identify him.
Judge John Lindsay found him guilty and adjourned sentencing to December for the preparation of a probation report.
Bennafa, of The Gardens, Carrickmines Manor, Dublin 18, and Camden Street, Dublin 2, was found guilty of two counts of public indecency.
He was also found guilty of threatening and abusive behaviour and possession of a rock.
Dun Laoghaire District Court heard that the young woman was out with her horse along Springfield Lane in Carrickmines around 7pm on August 9, 2010 when she saw Bennafa "having a w***".
She said she was "pretty shocked", adding that he had "everything exposed".
Stables
The woman said she went back to the stables and told some people what she had seen, and the gardai were called.
She said she was driving up Springfield Lane the next day, August 10, when she saw Bennafa again.
He was standing sideways at a gate but she could see him moving his hand.
The witness said she was horrified by what she saw, adding that the lane is busy and there are a lot of children around.
A second woman said she also saw Bennafa performing a lewd act on August 10, saying it was "pretty obvious" what he was doing.
A third witness said he was driving along Springfield Lane on August 11 when he saw a commotion.
He said Bennafa was there, as well as an individual on a horse and another man.
The man said Bennafa was holding a rock, swinging it around and threatening the man with it, telling him he was going to "rape him in the bushes".
The gardai were called, and Bennafa threw the rock into a bush before they arrived.
Garda Bernard Dunne said Bennafa was quite agitated and told him to "f*** off".
