I wonder if the disastrous effect of amphetamines on people's looks is caused only because they stop sleeping. To test that theory, some amphetamine users should also start using sleeping drugs.

Meth is BAD SHIT. I'm so damn lucky I stuck with pot and mushrooms while I was in high school, as my town has a HUGE, HUGE meth problem. I had so many chances to get into that stuff, and luckily I turned it down every time (I've seen what it can do cuz of a friend of mine...meth turns you into a shitty person.)

Meth is incredibly hard on your body and mind. Even heroin and all the opiates can't even compare to it...the only danger with those is because they're addictive and chance of overdosing...and they're not even as addictive as meth is.

EDIT: Keep in mind that I'm prolly more liberal than most here as far as psychoactive drugs go, as I learned a lot about them and know the dangers. So, I really mean it when I say meth is horrid. Turns you into a skinny paranoid chronically tired theiving freak. Meth is ONE drug where most the rumors are true.

Nahhh... among other reasons, it's because they make your metabolism go so fast, and dramatically increases the rate of cell death.

That's why after someone takes a dose of meth, their hair and nails have grown noticeably longer than they otherwise would have done.

I basically agree, but the damage that was done in 1914 when certain drugs became illegal is hard to undo.

A healthy Aryan siciety would not ban any drugs.
