http://www.thejournal.ie/poll-how-corrupt-is-ireland-702147-Dec2012/ A NEW REPORT published this morning analysing perceptions of corruption in various countries around the world has given Ireland its lowest ever score.
The Transparency International index, which measures how corrupt each country’s corporate culture is seen to be by others, puts Ireland in 25th place – relatively high among the 176 countries it includes, but low by Ireland’s own standards.
John Devitt of TI Ireland said the ranking showed “how little faith investors have in our ability to prevent the abuse of power”.
Today we’re asking how you perceive Ireland – and whether you think corruption has an influence in how decisions are made. So: how corrupt do you believe Ireland to be?
