I did see a fairly new show on the History Channel. I did not catch the name of it,but its a set of twins,and they take two cars,and two teams,of guys,and they restore older classic cars,and bring em up to speed with new technology.Both cars are equal,so theres no cheating.

When they finish their tech work,they take em out to the drag strip,and run em,the winning team takes home both cars.Best 2 out of 3 wins,thats cool cause,its all about who did the best work,and there is planning,and strategy involved.

Its a pretty good show.

Thats an interesting show you described Proud White Guy. I remember seeing something similar a few times but it was based on countries. One of the shows had three groups, Russian, British and American (all white). They basically built machines out of junk and tried them on different courses. Just a speed one, a mountanous one and to test how well their machines would float on water. Was rather amazing at the stuff they came up with. The Russians built this weird ass motorcycle/boat combo, which obviously won the water test.

Another show I remember was made of British, American and French teams that built airplanes based on old designs to test how well they flew.
