Why are people mentioning all these mainstream songs made by people that don’t care about our cause? Why not use some of the many great ballads we have made by WP bands that really care about what we are doing? Use something that actually reflects our stand, instead of trying to blend in we need to stand out.

Just a wild ass guess: Maybe because 'white power' punk music sucks for anyone over 15 years old?

Why are people mentioning all these mainstream songs made by people that don’t care about our cause?

We are mainstream. We arent a cult of alienated freaks. Im sure that 'mainstream' artists dont really believe in the marxist philosophy that the jews who sign their royalty checks believe in, but they go along because the marxists have power.

You wont hear it from the jewsmedia but whites want their cuture and their society and philosophy back.

We are mainstream, not the marxist elite.

Use something that actually reflects our stand, instead of trying to blend in we need to stand out.

We dont need to alienate ourselves from the masses to attract them to us. Thats just thinking backwards. Backwards that is, if one is not a jew.

Sounds like Alex Jones' bumper music. What's that piece called anyway?

Read what I said again. I didn't say punk music I said ballads. People like Johnny Dixon is not punk and if he wasn't WP I think he could be a popular mainstream artist. I think you have had one to many this evening.

I also am not saying to be like a cult. But we don't need to try to be like the people that cater to the Jew either.

Keep in mind that most "mainstream" music is licensed by ASCAP/BMI. Pay to play. That is why I would like to stress that the musically enabled among us submit our own material free for use by VNN. I have several works in progress that I will gladly offer up for the project.

To me, it's all about our own network created by our own people as a testament to the creativity of our White heritage and ingenuity. And it can also lead to the establishment of VNN Records, another VNN subsidiary.

I lean to varied extremes. I love punk, progressive, classical, metal, old country and folk musics and have authored hundreds of examples of original music relating to those genres in a library spanning 28 years.

My point is: I know there are others like me here on this forum that can contribute original music that will perk the ears of the listener the broadcasts. Why look at outside sources when it can be ALL OURS?

Some not so good ambient songs I made. I am working on more serious material right now. I scrapped what I had earlier and started off again and have about 1 minute done. Not sure if its going to be just synthesizers or if I should add guitars to it.

EDIT:
If anyone cares I can send them the current song I'm working on. Like I said its only around 1 minute and only like 900k so I can attach it in hotmail and send it to you via email.

Yes. You've nailed it! I withdraw my previous suggestions. Jeff Beck and ELP will have to be happy with what I've already paid for their albums. An original theme would indeed be best. Licensing isn't always expensive but also not always practical or serving the purpose of the bumper in the first place depending on the song. What will people think of when they hear it? No getting confused with a first date or something dumb like that! Don't cause distractions by "familiar" tunes! The best way to have the tune associated SOLEY with VNN is to have ownership of the song.

A little thing floating around in my brain pan. Didn't even speak about it to Alex yet as we have plenty to deal with now but it would be an easily done subsidiary when the time comes and a natural progression considering we will have a broadcasting arm to market acts.

I like Jeff Beck and ELP (and tons of other progressive acts) but your addition to my explanation adds even more reason why we should not use mainstream material. One of the purposes of VNN is to show the proles that Whites are innovative and ever progressing to a higher plane regardless of what the jew throws at us. Why not show it by discovering and furthering the new musical endeavors of our membership in our original programming?

Alex has opened the "big door" to many trades and talents. Lets show him what we're made of.

There's also some great instrumentals on ELP's "Tarkus" album.

ELP was probably the ultimate self-indulgent band of the '70s thanks to Keith Emerson (Rick Wakeman was with them for a while too wasn't he ?) and their keyboards but Greg Lake was a good guitar player. I confess I did like From the Beginning and especially Still You Turn Me On.[/Quote]

Here are a few more suggestons:

(I'm Gonna) Kick You Out - Twelve Caesars (Caesars Palace) -Swedish band

Dirty Water - Standells

(I'm so glad that) I'm an American - Mutants

Slow Death - Flamin' Groovies

On Your Radio - Joe Jackson

Everywhere at Once - Plimsouls

What's so Funny 'bout Peace Love and Understanding - Elvis Costello (irony)

Personality Crisis - New York Dolls

Mr. Robert - Brownsville Station

Won't You Please Do That - Michael Fennelly

Mirror Star - Fabulous Poodles

Friday on my Mind - Easybeats

Search and Destroy - Stooges or EMF

Boys in Town - Divinyls (early)

Feuer Frei - Zillertaler Turkenjäger

Twentieth Century Man - Kinks (the first Euro or Anglocentric rock song, 1969)

Twentieth Century Man

This is the age of machinery,
A mechanical nightmare,
The wonderful world of technology,
Napalm hydrogen bombs biological warfare.

This is the twentieth century,
But too much aggravation
It is the age of insanity,
What has become of the green pleasant fields of jerusalem.

Ain't got no ambition, I'm just disillusioned
I'm a twentieth century man but I don't wanna be here.

My mama said she can't understand me
She can't see my motivation
Just give me some security,
I’m a paranoid schizoid product of the twentieth century.

You keep all your smart modern writers
Give me William Shakespeare
You keep all your smart modern painters
I'll take Rembrandt, Titian, Da Vinci and Gainsborough.

Girl we gotta get out of here
We gotta find a solution
I'm a twentieth century man but I don't want to die here.

I do have a day job and family and dedicate the rest of my time to this and my band.

Stan, I very much appreciate the time and expertise you're donating. I know everyone else does too. You are the tech guy. Therefore wouldn't it make more sense for Linder to send you the donations and you take care of the hardware purchasing ? You're familiar with the equipment and Alex is not. Anything you buy online you can have shipped to another location including Linder's PO box.
Alex is a fine writer but I don't think he's the guy to be running down parts and material. You have experience with that and you could greatly expedite the process.

Be on the lookout for those sudden musical inspirations as you work that guitar and program. That's when things happen that can end up as whole song concepts. I can't tell you how many times I set out to learn a scale progression and ended up writing a whole tune.

Do you need a multitrack recording program that can manage live audio and midi sources? VERY simular to Cakewalk Sonar ? ;) Give me a yell.

No, the song is called "O Fortuna" from the Oratorio Carmina Burana by Orff.

It is in Latin. It was also played in Conan the Barbarian and The Doors movies. It is quite well known, and a tremendous thrill to hear live (yes I have) and it has the virtue of being outside copyright, but the downside is that it is too heavy.

Anyone been to archive.org? They archive multimedia and live music (mostly hippie jam bands, but they do have some great stuff like Hank Williams III and Wayne Hancock, even Jump Little Children!), and they have a section called Open Source Audio. I'm not sure their policies on using them, but check it out at:

http://www.archive.org/audio/collection.php?collection=opensource_audio&PHPSESSID=70901003ae818578a8771e74626dca7b

I'm pretty sure a lot is in public domain, but I'm also pretty sure some artists would want credit and/or permission to use them.

Nice pic KLM. Shirley Manson is not only a good singer, but in that pic as hot a redhead as they come. She has very unique facial features somewhat similar to Bjork, the Icelandic songstress. But that redheadedness and china white skin is my Achilles heal. My childrens' mother was a redhead of Irish/English/French and German decent.

Shirley is a talented performer. Butch Vig, the bands' (Garbage) co-producer was also the producer instrumental in bringing about the sound of Nirvana that made 'Nevermind' the platinum, modern music changing icon that it was.

Thanks for sharing the pic and the suggestion for bumper is noted.
