I ordered those books the other day, actually based on your recommendation in an older thread. Can't wait to get em in. I finished North, and read a bunch of other Celine online...its time to move on to something else now.
"...like Cannabis, psychoactive mushrooms, or Henbane beer as part of Germanic heathen shamanism throughout history. "
Woo hoo! :D Stay away from that Henbane, tho. That stuff is supposed to make you go crazy for days. Any datura family plant, for that matter. For some interesting experiences of people trying Datura plants and tropane alkaloids, go here and be entertained by the stupidity of it all:

BTW, how friendly is Tyr with NS and racialism? I've been meaning to educate myself more on Traditionalism, and I'm not sure is there's like a "politically correct" version or not. I know there's a LOT of PC Asatru, tho.

I have no interest in illegal drugs. Alcohol and coffee serve my psychotropic needs just fine.
Tyr is just a name for the journal. Michael Moynihan appears to be a big contributer co-equal with Stephen Edred Flowers. Read about him in the book "Gods of the Blood" by Matthias Gardel if you want to learn more. See my thread on that book at civil forum, months ago.
Flowers is an asatruar and Texas professor. In Tyr 2 they also have an excellent piece by McNallen, who was an early American asatru guy, and a big discussion of "ethnic asatru" as opposed to the fake universalist type.
NS is not taboo with these folks, but they are not nazis and tend to criticize NS along the same lines as Evola as too materialist and demagogic.

My interest in drugs has thankfully gone away. I just kinda quit one day. Well, its not like it was some huge accomplishment...the only thing I regularly did was smoke pot. Plus, with my hatred of the legal system...I don't wanna get tangled up in it over something like pot. But I gotta say, I feel ten times better now all the time and I'm simply bored a lot less now that I don't smoke it anymore. I hardly ever drink, too, unless I'm out or something.
Anyways, thanks for the info. Should be educational..that way I won't feel so uninformed, cause you have a tendency to make people feel stupid. :D

......cause you have a tendency to make people feel stupid. :D
sorry I have a way of doing that. not a good thing. but I am very talkative here because I am trying to fill this forum with a good variety of race-related content to keep newbies coming back for new stuff. it is a tendency however to blather on too much which I have sought to master in life.

Actually, its a good thing! Incentive to learn and educate myself (sites like this taught me the value in that)! :D Learning code and programming is really dull...I'd major in philosophy or something, but the only job you can get with that is if you get a doctorate and become a professor (which would be really, really cool, but I'm not that patient).
