They are not really that accurate, as they are dependant on visits by people using Alexa tool bars.

On one of my sites I had a massive jump up the rankings one month, but my weblogs showed similar traffic for the month, as the previous month (so ne real life leap).

They are a vague indicator, nothing more, although with a gap of over 600,000 I think it can be taken as read that there is a major difference in traffic there.

Nope, I'm a fellow who visited WR for a brief amount of time (returning a favour) and was involved in a discussion about you.

However, based on the context of that discussion I guess it could be described as "Bad mouthing", but then as I said, that all depends on how you view the context of the discussion.

Considering the context, and content, there were not many options on the table, Put another way it could be said that I was agreeing with the premise and construct offered to me, or put another way yet it could be said I was defending another person from an attack.

I will say this, I stand by everyword I said, and in that sense I don't count it as bad mouthing. I was given a construct, and asked to answer a question about you based on that, the answer I gave was the only answer I could, given the framework handed to me.

I'm not going to lie, to protect a stranger.

It could be argued, concerning WR, that if you have a "friend" (I don't know if the guy went there with your sanctioning or not) who is defending you, you want to have one who doesn't actually make you more enemies than you started with. That's pretty much the bottom line of what happened at WR.

As for bad mouthing you "all the time", no insult intended, but I have far bigger and more important things to do that sit around talking about a guy I have never met before, and if I had a serious problem with you (for whatever reason) you would know about it, because it would be done to your face, and not behind your back.

I don't know you Glenn, I've heard stuff, and I've read stuff, and if asked a straight question I'm going to answer with a straight answer based on what I know, and the framework handed to me.

If you want to class that as "Bad mouthing" you then go right ahead, feel free to class it as such.

Not the proper forum here, so if you ever have questions about my association with The Order, feel free to ask at anytime, but on a proper VNNF forum. And read MY SIDE OF THE STORY first. Click below for that.

Fair comment.

You can read about Alexa's rap on themselves here.

Here is a chat about the topic at some website I picked out of the blue:

Here's a better chat, more details about the methodology and its flaws:

Not to lead anyone astray, but here is the lovely and heavily, er, dowloaded Danni Ashe's comment on the topic.

Thanks A.E. I kinda figured you'd come along and provide the best source info. Does the internet hold any secrets at all from you ?? Didn't think so.
