View Full Version : Asians and (lack of)fighting ability

Why does everyone assume that East Asians all know how to fight? Why are so many people convinced that their martial arts are so powerful? I've seen so many White guys back down from gooks because of this bullshit. Niggers, especially, think anyone with slanty eyes knows "Kung-Fu". As in "fuck dat, nigga! Dees Chinese boys be doin' some Kung-Fu shit, dog."

Anyone else notice the shortage of nips in professional MA? Hell, K-1 and Pride were both created in Japan, and the only jap I can even think of is Sakuraba. What the fuck is so great about Japanese arts? People seem to forget that, as several islands with no outside contact, the japs trained only to fight other japs. A European swordsman during the renasissance would have faced numerous different weapons and styles, from warriors across several continents.

Look, I've gained some things from Eastern MA, but most of my skill comes from good genetics and LOTS of practice. The toughest guy I know never had any real training other than highschool wrestling, but he still wins 9 out of 10 grappling contests between us. All the jap crap just isn't enough to overcome the size and strength difference. I guess what I'm trying to say is that fish and rice can't beat meat and potatoes.

Based on my own observations and experience, I would venture to say this: For an individual to prevail in a real-life "streetfight" scenario ( physical size being the same ), is about 80% conditioning, and 20% knowledge/implementation of MA technique. I know that this is a generalization, and a very broad one, but I stand by it.

You've noticed one of the many ways by which Jews cultivated fear by suggestion among Whites with though the use of media applied psychology. Beginning around 1970, they started making the great Asian Kung-Fu myth with TV shows having Asian stars or guest-stars who were so accomplished in martial arts that White guys "just didn't have a chance." It was all script and choreography, of course, but when you watch TV your critical faculty melts away, and if it looks convincing your mind often accepts that it is real.

Years of that kind of conditioning bred timidity in Whites. Once a whole generation grows up with no real-world reference to something which is constantly treated on TV (i.e., with no reality checks to fantasy), the first assumption, the working approximation, made by its members is that what they saw on TV must be at least roughly correct. When it isn't, they might have a hard time accepting the shift in their picture of the world.

You've seen this kind of thing before. You see it every time you observe a liberal holding forth on racial equality, despite the years of scientific and law-enforcement data that proves that the races are not equals. The media instilled those liberals with the fiction of racial equality, and the fiction was varnished with a quasi-religious authority that makes it seem immoral to doubt the fiction.

After the Jews got the psychological ball rolling on the idea of the Mighty Kung-Fu Asian, they spun off a feminist variation. Think back to the 1970s era TV sitcoms, TV adventure series, and TV cop shows. Do you remember the many, many times small women gave large men the judo-flip and then kicked them into submission? Once again, the Jews targeted White men for a poison dose of induced timidity, and to a certain extent it worked. When a woman turns on you fiercely, you back off do you not?

And the conditioned habit of backing off has led to feminist gains in legal areas. Once the male habit of standing his ground and using his power to assert himself would have landed so many White men in prison that it simply wasn't feasible to have laws that (just to use the example) deprive fathers of child custody almost automatically. Too many men would be in prison to keep them all within walls, there'd have been too rapid a depletion in the labor force, there'd have been a noticeable reduction in tax revenue, etc. But once the TV-induced timidity had been established, it was feasible for feminist Jews to make real-world encroachments on the rights of White men.

Most of having rights is a matter of common assumptions (tradition). You do it. If you can get away with it, you have the right. If so many people are doing it, whatever it is, that they can't all be locked up, then the right is pretty much an established fact. The Jews use TV fantasies to interfere with those traditions, always painting the "new way" as a better way, leading to a brighter world. It's a trick, of course. The purpose of Jewish TV fantasy is to destroy those common assumptions that make rights for Whites possible.

Ever hear of Judo? Mitsuyo Maeda? Yukio Tani? Pride FC is FULL of Japanese fighters besides Sakuraba. And what about all those Thai boxers?

I am getting sick of this "which race is the best at MMA" crap. It is not a racial issue. The fact is that some races/ethnicities don't have much enthusiasm for that particular sport. I don't see a lot of Greeks in Pride FC, I guess that means Greeks can't fight now?!

To suggest that one race or another may have advantages is not illegitimate. Maybe it is true or not, given the hypothesis, but you seem very convinced. I'm not. Sure every race can produce decent fighters. I have studied Aikido with Japanese and Judo with negroes and karate/tkd with Whites. In general, martial arts practice is pretty "universal." That doesnt mean that at a high level of competition, one race may not stand out.

Japs, and plenty of them, have a very high rate of exposure to martial arts, but they dont produce large numbers of mixed martial art champions. From a cursory glance the proposition that you ridicule looks as provable to me as the theory that niggers produce the best boxers. Now I know that will piss some people off, but I think the nigger skull is so thick that under boxing rules, person for person and pound for pound, niggers will tend to produce the best boxers because they can take headshots no White man can stand.

Or maybe in the bigger weight classes. Maybe in the lighter weight classes Indian mestizoids have an advantage.

But in mixed martial arts, the thick skull advantage is lessened. The ideal of the human form on an individual basis is the Aryan ideal, and pankration the ancient form of practice unarmed combat in the west.

The fact that you have provided the names of a few decent MMA Japs does not prove much. If I am wrong about this trend, let me know by some provable statistics, because over large numbers that is the trend that I see.

I'm not emotionally attatched to this result JP. Show me the numbers that prove Whites are not best at MMA. Names of five good Japs does not convince me.

The Mestizo boxers fare well because they have thicker skulls, too. The occipital bone is much thicker than a White man's, and this really helps to stabilize the neck, which facilitates weaving and absorbs impact.
Most races can claim some sort of biological advantage, but the White man has his intellect.

prisons show that in physical confrontations, groups nearly always beat individuals, that the best knife technique is the straight thrust, that weapons are key in self defense, and that social cooperation, surprise, deception, and stealth are not advanced concepts but "fundamentals."

Nothing but common sense there, but people watch movies and forget it.

The thing that bugs me most is this: "the best knife technique is the straight thrust". That's so obvious. You're always going to do more damage with a stab than with a slash. I don't understand these knife and sword nuts who are in love with middle-east and far-east curved-blade designs. European swords were always best. Hell, you can still slash and cut with a straight blade if that's what you're into. Still, the POKE is what won the battles :)

That's not going to change.

http://www.oriental-arms.co.il/photos/items/78/001678/ph-0.jpg

From the photo's original page: This sword is common between the Ngombe people of central Zaire. There are many legends concerning this type of sword, the most known is its use for execution. Either it is right or wrong, it is definitely a very impressive sword and always was regarded as a symbol of status.

They love the head-chopping so much that they just ended up with a big edged hook.

See the irony? The straight piece of steel is the EASIEST to think of, design, and create. Non-whites aren't just stupid, they're kinky. They're deviant.

Look at that point that sticks out into the half-circle. WTF is that? lol makes it like a giant fish-hook. I guess you swing this down on the prisoner's neck, but then what? You can't withdraw it to hack again and finish the job in a relatively timely and humane manner. I guess you have to stand there and shake it to finish the cutting. Or you stand there laughing at the blood-spurting and screaming. From what I've seen of negroids, I'll bet this was a tool to mortally wound someone and then lead them around by the neck while they're dying. LMAO at niggers. Glad I never got captured by an african tribe. Cruelty and inefficiency rules.

Actually slashing is a lot easier. Why do you think Europeans eventually phased out their double-edged swords for sabres? The Russians learned early on from the Mongols that the curved blade was better, especially for cavalry. That is where the famous Cossack shashka most likely got its origin. Arabs copied what could be called an Aryan design; the scimitar comes from the Iranian shamsheer.

It took many centuries for all of Europe to realize that lighter, slashing swords worked better. Nations that fought with Turks frequently(Poland, Russia) were way ahead of some of the Western European nations.

The Japanese sword is a different type altogether, designed for "cutting".

straight thrust is best on foot.

slashing is best from horseback. straight thrust on horseback is more trouble than it's worth. slashing from horseback uses the energy of the horse to add to the destructive force of the blow, and avoids the possible tangling up and loss of the weapon entailed in a piercing thrust.

but, again, on foot the history of sword development and fencing shows the vast superiority of thrusting.

Kenjutsu uses both slashing and thrusting. So that s not one or the other.

That is a superb summary. Knowing the human anatomy also helps in directing the energy which is expended.

On the streets one learns quickly that all notions of fair play and gentlemanly behavior do not exist. What I was taught was "dirty fighting" is the only kind there is and what one encounters on the streets are merely intensified in the American gulags.

As you point out groups nearly always beat individuals and that fundamental understanding extends to all of our efforts in the fight for the survival of our race. Which is why I do not support all this talk of lone wolfism, we need organizations and we do need points of gathering, whether here in cyber world or in the physical realm.

As I have mentioned previously there was a fellow, a member of the American National Socialists, at San Quentin, the ANS was not a validated prison gang but a group of White inmates, and this one man was able to hold off 50 Black Muslims for a period of several minutes. Now they did kill him but when we see how many of our White males are intimidated by negroes and mestizos and Pacific Islanders and so on, like the males at the Wichita Massacre, that fallen NS comrade demonstrated that a White man who knows what he is about is more than able to stand up to untermenschen. Earlier this year there was a thread about a wigger kid , a skinny little guy, who fought off the KS college basketball team negroes.

Ken is way past it. People age at different rates and KS missed the boat on good aging genetics. But you do make a good point. I have often seen VNN posters(mostly young ones) who make comments about "old men" and how they shouldn't be shooting off their mouths, etc. Because they would get there asses beat. I always point them out to Randy Couture, age 42. Up until a few months ago he was the lightheavyweight champ until 37 year old Chuck liddel beat him.

Couture's fight record reads like a whose who of UFC. Randy has beaten Vitor Belfort, Tito Ortiz, Chuck Liddell, Pedro Rizzo, Tsuyoshi Kohsaka, Kevin Randleman, Jeremy Horn and Ryushi Yanagisawa. Not bad for a 40 plus "old man".

What do you think is easier to dodge, a straight thrust or a slash? A lance was good for cavalry but it had limite uses. From the ground perspective lances were best used as a defense against enemy cavalry. The Celts were devasted several times due to their reliance of spears vs. the Roman short sword which was good at slashing.

That is true, there is a bit of a martial arts myth with Asians. I've seen big muscle-covered Aussie blokes back down from a single skinny Vietnamese on the strength of it. Pretty funny!

Mind you... I work with a few Asians, and all of the Chinese I work with can fight pretty well. Not because of any martial arts nonsense (only one of them is a martial artist), but because they're generally cool-headed and have a good sense for what works and what's impractical and endangering.

but, again, on foot the history of sword development and fencing shows the vast superiority of thrusting.

Kenjutsu uses both slashing and thrusting. So that s not one or the other.Actually reliance on sword thrusts on foot only predominates in two periods: in the Roman Legions, and in Europe after the introduction of gunpowder had rendered body armor obsolete.

Since a lot of the Roman's fighting was against Celts who used big shields but who often lacked good body armor, the gladius thrusting sword was a good weapon.

In spite of this, Celts, and later Germans and Vikings always relied on the slashing broadsword and the shield. Moreover as body armor got better, a thrust to the gut got less effective, whereas a good chop from a broadsword could still break bones (and thus incapacitate) even if the armor was not penetrated (by which I mean chainmail; really good plate armor would not arrive til the late middle ages).

Broadswords also predominated on horseback, at least until the medieval European armor got too good to be defeated by broadsword. In fact, contrary to the Hollywood image of Arabs with scimitars, the standard Arab sword from the time of Mohammad until the invasion of the Mongols, was the straight broadsword. After the Mongols, the curved scimitar predominates in the middle east.

Anyway, what we now think of as "fencing" comes from the gunpowder period and the disappearance of armor. Rapiers and other thrusting swords came to predominate, culminating in the civilian small sword, a thrusting sword with no edges at all. However, on horseback straight broadswords survived until very late, usually with heavy cavalry, although curved calvary sabers dominate late in period.

In Japan everything is different; one can thrust with the Japanese Katana, but in reality it is a draw-cut weapon; one draws the weapon over the target like a razor to make a cut. Against unarmored opponents this weapon is deadly since it can easily slice through bone and remove limbs in a flash. Not so good against armor, though; the Katana is like a delicate razor that one draws over one's target, whereas the European broadsword is an impact weapon that stuns like a club even if it doesn't manage to cut through the target - more like an axe than a razor.

Cut vs. thrust entirely depends on history, tactics, and to a certain extent, whim or fashion. Both are different ways of getting the job done; one is not necessarily better than the other, it depends on the situation.

For a good example of classic broadsword and shield fighting in action, check out your local SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) group in action. In fact, I just got back from the Pennsic War myself, albeit I haven't done any fighting myself in years. More of a drinker now.

I was always under the impression that the estock* pre-dated the rapier, myself. See, one can't use a rapier's cutting edge against a person wearing armour, but it is just the ticket for using against a person not likely to be wearing armour, like a person around after fire-arms made heavy armours obsolete.

Whereas an estock is more limited in use, given that it doesn't have a blade at all and can only be used to stab.

Are you aware that a much higher percentage of asians are raised with martial arts training compared to other races? And from a biological view, the asian formation of advanced martial arts makes perfect sense the fact asians have the fastest conscious reactions times out of any race (niggers have the slowest).

I saw a Vietnamese kid at my college drop a rowdy nigger at a party with one fucking hit to the solar plexus (although he had to jet after that because 7 of his homies decided to help out). I've done plenty of tournaments and sparring etc as a younger fellow and clobbered the bejeezus out of every Asian kid I ever went up against. I've been knocked around plenty by Whites and niggers, but that's it. I never had a fight against an Asian kid, because I always got along with them and thought they were pretty nice decent people to be around unlike niggers. But in tournaments, I never found them particularly gifted.

I remember this one poor Korean kid, we were doing Olympic TKD style. I sparred around with him a little and softened him up, he was kind of slow. I think I parried his guard and whacked the shit out of his collarbone area with a decent overhand right which made him drop his arms like a bird with a broken wing. He was all sweaty and pathetic like, sucking wind. I kind of stopped for a second, and then my big mean weightlifting cop of a White "Sa bum nim" runs up to the edge of the ring and roars in my ear like that guy from "karate kid" "WHY THE HELL ARE YOU HESITATING? FINISH HIM!" Boy, that got my attention and a quick shuffle-front-push kick in the breadbasket later, the Korean kid had whacked up against the wall and then crumpled like a sack of potatoes. My teacher threatened to beat the lights out of me if I ever hesitated in front of him again. I felt sympathy for the other kid, but the lesson my teacher was trying to teach me was invaluable. Your training has to produce a reflexive reaction that does not stop until the other party is incapacitated, not just sucking wind.

The reasons why it seems like Asians dominate the world of martial arts is simply because they were the first to start promoting theirs internationally not only through dojos and sports(like Judo) but also on film. Europe was full of martial arts for thousands of years, but after the Christianization the old Greco-Roman fighting arts died out when gymnasiums were destroyed and contests stopped. Of course "martial arts" still existed, but their identity was not as strong like the arts of Asia.

Of course in reality, Asia is full of martial arts but only a few of them have proven truly useful, and many have been proven to be almost useless in real combat. Off the top of my head I can only think of three highly effective martial arts from Asia and those of course would be Muay Thai(Khmer boxing), Judo, and Judo's parent Jujitsu. And on the subject of the latter, it was Judo that made Jujitsu truly useful and effective.

So? I've hospitalised people with one punch to the face (that was a long time ago).

It doesn't mean anything, it's just that people are not as tough and resilient as you think they are. We're all made out of flesh, muscle, bone, tendons... and about the only thing of these which is significantly increased in tensile strength by hard training, is muscle (and not by all that much).

My point is that no matter how 'tough' a person is, or is meant to be, there's parts of a person which remain as vulnerable as they ever were. There's a fuck lot of nerves which converge in the area of the solar plexus, and it hardly takes a martial artist to know that punching someone there is going to hurt badly.

Now, if he'd taken on all of the other guy's friends as well, then I'd be impressed. Heh heh. :D

The way I heard it, "martial arts" as we know it spread eastward from the greeks. Our little yellow buddies have always taken our knowledge and found some corners to cut.

"Martial Arts" just means the science of fighting. We made better bows and arrows, better steel tubes(firearms) so we wouldn't have to block punches and kicks. The slants got left behind. Try and block a bullet, chink.

I think we outdid them in weaponless fighting too, and still can.

When you look close at greek wrestling and english swordsmanship you see hundreds of combinations. The orientals just accepted what we were lending to them. They did some neat stuff with it.

Martial arts developed wherever armies existed, so in essence they were everywhere. Asians actually believe(though logic would cast doubt) that jujitsu, what they consider the father of their martial arts, was brought to China by Bodhidharma, and Aryan(Asian art often portrays his Aryan features) from India who brought Buddhism as well. So as you can see they are not so uptight about where their martial arts allegedly come from, especially since they know full well that this is essentially a legend and it is highly unlikely that one man invented jujitsu.

Many of them have been claiming that Chinese boxing goes back to the period of the yellow emperor, predating the vajramushti system of the Indian ksatryia who also claim to be the oldest. So if the chinese have a legend about a blue-eyed devil introducing zen and physical and spiritual exercises to chinese monks, it probably has more than a kernel of truth in it, and for the chinese this would be a grudging admission.

I think the Bodhidharma thing is actually more popular in Japan, where jujitsu was king for so long. Chinese are obsessed with their Shaolin Kung Fu Wing Chun crap and they have got to be pretty pissed that after over 1,000 years Kung Fu doesn't stand a chance in the ring against guys whose total martial arts experience might have been high school/college wrestling.

Han Chinese laugh like Jews at such debates. With a billion of them, with decent IQs, ethnically cohesive as anybody, politically united in a Chink homeland under a NS style authoritarian government, and an increasing proportion of the durable goods used in the world manufactured in their neck of the woods, and a cohesive Diaspora to boot, even if we get the Jew foot of our necks there's no guarantee we will outlive the Chinks.

And every year we spend dicking around with the Jews and the rest of the shits, we lose a little more precious time and energy which will be needed to hold our turf against the Chinks.

So wushu sucks ass. And to the Han that means very little. It's about like calling Woody Allen a puss. Sure he is. And that Jew pussy's millions will buy an army of cops and lawyers to fuck your life up should you ever so much as spit on the sidewalk alongside his disgusting Jew feet.

So I hope for all this karate talk, people will want to work on some real power and not just the most primitive kind, ie, the ability to kick another guy's ass.

Good on you for saying so, AE. Being tough, being able to fight, essentially isn't shit- it's handy, sure, but at the end of the day the smart outlive the strong. And that's what life is, an endurance contest. Look at all the people who were strong, but were simply eclipsed by a better organised and more cohesive occupying force.

The Maori, to give just one of about a million examples, are collectively as tough a people as you're likely to meet, but even they essentially put up no resistance at all when the British came.

there is also the social context of individual fighting. how things develop. this is hugely important as well. as most kids learn in high school, the guy who lands the first punch rarely loses a fight. so the guys that are successful at fighting are usually those inclined to throw the first punch. and that's usually a "sucker punch." One "sucker punch" opportunity is worth about a year in the weight room.

Here is a little sports story that I think also illuminates the use of superior experience and strategy in physical contests.

Crafty Agassi Overcomes Karlovic at Open By STEVE WILSTEIN, AP National Writer
Thu Sep 1, 7:10 PM ET

Size doesn't matter in tennis. Neither does age. Andre Agassi stood 11 inches shorter than 6-foot-10 Croatian Ivo Karlovic, spun serves about 50 mph slower, and logged far fewer miles on court.

The ace count went to Karlovic, 30-5, as he clocked serves consistently in the 130-142 mph range, but the second-round victory at the U.S. Open on Thursday went to Agassi, 7-6 (4), 7-6 (5), 7-6 (4).

At 35, nine years older than the gangling giant across the net, Agassi came up bigger on the big points to continue his run for one more Grand Slam title in his 20th visit to the Open. His wife, Steffi Graf, and 3-year-old son, Jaden, watched at courtside.

"Listen to that," Agassi said as the standing crowd in Arthur Ashe Stadium cheered his victory. "How does that get old? Thanks guys."

Agassi, seeded No. 7, couldn't equal Karlovic's power and didn't care. Rather, he settled for cleverness and steadiness, taking advantage of the Croatian's weak backhand and awkward lateral movement. No one on the tour likes to play against the No. 56-ranked Karlovic, Agassi had said before playing him for the first time, because his serves come down from an unfamiliar trajectory, as if fired from the roof. Agassi felt the same way after winning.

"It's an incredible serve," Agassi said. "I'm trying to figure out where it is I would need to stand on the court to have the same trajectory. It's not a function of how fast it is because a lot of guys can serve it 135-plus. The trajectory is the main issue because you're lunging, but then it's up. You're sort of diving, but then you can't reach it, even if you dive perfectly and on cue."

Agassi swung and swished at some serves and stared helplessly as many others sped by. Each time he walked calmly to the other side, waiting for the ones he could get a racket on, trying to get Karlovic to play on different terms in rallies. There Agassi had the advantage.

"If I was coaching him, I'd fine him $100 every time he hit a groundstroke," Agassi said. "In his most difficult moments, he was more awkward than I anticipated."

The first-set tiebreak turned in just such a moment, when Agassi drilled a forehand that Karlovic volleyed wide to give Agassi a minibreak at 5-4. Agassi kept taking aim at Karlovic's backhand and watched him hit two straight unforced errors off that side to lose the set.

Agassi had to go to five set-points in the second set before he won it with a deep forehand that Karlovic swatted long. In the third set, serving with a 5-4 lead in the tiebreak, Agassi hit six straight shots at Karlovic's backhand, then ripped a winner to his open forehand side to set up match point. Again, Agassi picked on Karlovic's backhand, hitting three shots to that side and watching Karlovic dump the last one into the net.

Agassi played with extra caution in this match, not going for too much in the wind against Karlovic.

"Today required a lot of concentration because it only took a mental lapse for one or two shots and the set's over with," Agassi said. "On a calm day if I'm taking risks against a guy like that, all he needs is one game and then he's going to win the set. I couldn't afford to get too risky. Points happen too quickly out there."

Agassi's wariness was particularly raised after watching No. 4 Andy Roddick fall in three tiebreakers in the first round against Luxembourg's Gilles Muller. Muller's luck and poise didn't hold in the second round as he was beaten 6-1, 6-1, 6-4 by American doubles partner Robby Ginepri.

"It's good to beat Roddick," Muller said. "But then if you play in the next round ... like I did today, it doesn't change anything."

Sebastien Grosjean beat No. 14 Thomas Johansson 6-3, 6-2, 4-6, 6-2, and No. 19 Tommy Robredo knocked out former French Open champion Gustavo Kuerten 5-7, 7-6 (3), 6-3, 6-2.

In women's matches, No. 2 Lindsay Davenport, No. 6 Elena Dementieva, No. 7 Justine Henin-Hardenne, No. 12 Mary Pierce, No. 13 Anastasia Myskina, No. 15 Nathalie Dechy, No. 17 Jelena Jankovic, No. 19 Elena Likhovtseva, and No. 23 Tatiana Golovin all won in straight sets.

Agassi's balky back hasn't acted up yet, but he's wary that it could go at any moment. A herniated disc shot pain down his right leg at the French Open, leading to his first-round loss there and his absence from Wimbledon. He could be playing his last U.S. Open but he hopes he will be able to keep going another year or two. Nothing, he said, would be decided until the end of this year.

"It was a good sign to play a guy where I had to lunge a lot and jump around," Agassi said. "It was 2 1/2 hours. I felt pretty good."

The fans, meanwhile, are relishing every moment with him, as he is with them.

Agassi has played the U.S. Open more than any man in the Open era except Jimmy Connors, who competed here 22 times. Agassi's win against Karlovic was his 73rd at the Open, tying him with Ivan Lendl for second in the Open era behind Connors' 98.

"I always enjoyed watching him as a kid," Karlovic said of Agassi. "He is a legend."

So asian martial arts expertise is a jew myth?

Are you aware that a much higher percentage of asians are raised with martial arts training compared to other races? And from a biological view, the asian formation of advanced martial arts makes perfect sense the fact asians have the fastest conscious reactions times out of any race (niggers have the slowest).

I saw a Vietnamese kid at my college drop a rowdy nigger at a party with one fucking hit to the solar plexus (although he had to jet after that because 7 of his homies decided to help out). I also know a few Thai kids who do Muay Thai and could beat the shit out of me or pretty any person who wasn't trained better than they were.

Most stereotypes do have a root in truth.

It figures that you'd say something like this. You're just like all the nigs in Opposing Views; you make bullshit claims that you can't back up. Isn't there a fucking slope forum you can join, mongrel scum?

Look at all the people who were strong, but were simply eclipsed by a better organised and more cohesive occupying force. You're really making a false dichotomy between smart and strong. Military might still makes right, and there is no evidence that will ever change (and overwhelming evidence that it will not). Smarts are important for maximizing military might, but to get things done, you often still need to get boots on the ground. In most wars, close combat is still going to happen. There is nothing magical about "high tech" that keeps knives and fists from being useful in addition to bullets and bombs and missiles. But all of these are forms of strength.

The smart and strong emerge on top. Both are needed in order to rule. Where would America be without its military? For that matter, where would Israel be? In fact, Soviet and (to a much lesser extent) American military might are why the Third Reich lasted a helluva lot shorter than 1,000 years.

Anyway, interesting thread. Just read it all.

Sure. But there's impetuous, brash, unthinking strength (which the Ancient Greeks called 'Ares' in their mythos), and there's cool-headed, strategic, temperate strength (which they called 'Pallas-Athena').

They both typify different types of strength, which may both be suited to different situations- but in a situation where both come head-to-head, who wins?

That's more what I meant.

Martial arts that focus on striking, as most East Asian ones seem to, may be fine arts but do not correspond to reality as almost all fights go to grappling almost straight away. I find that East Asians are brave fighters but Whites have a big advantage in size, strength and weight, and especially aggression! How many East Asian boxing or wrestling or M.M.A. champions have you seen? yes, zero.

in over a decade of active practice of tkd, shorinryu, akido, judo, in three different states, I saw only a literal handful (5) of Asians who were worth spit as martial artists. 3 in their 70s. I am thinking of 3 japs and 2 han-guks. I think 4/5 were immigrants and the one was born in Hawaii.

so the asian budoka of today, are not worth making fun of. it's really pathetic -- probably it's better in Asia, but in the USA the yellows are total physical wimps almost to a man. maybe that's just the general low quality of the immigrant stock, I dont know.

Or it may just be that in the midwest there are not so many yellows like there are in California or out east.

Welterweight: Matt Hughes - White

PRIDE Champions:

Those are the top two M.M.A. championships, I don't think that we need to go into all of the little ones. PRIDE is held in Japan too. Bear in mind that Whites are 8% of the World population.

I think he's great but I don't watch boxing, only sporadically if I happen to see it flipping through channels. The rules of boxing are by nature favourable to the Negroids with their longer arms. In the UFC this is almost completely neutralized by the brains of the White fighters.
For example, watch the video of the recent Rich Frankling vs Louisea fight and even the commentators note that the nig had a 3 inch reach advantage, and this is in spite of the nig actually being 1 inch shorter in height! I notice this is all MMA fights when the tale of the tape is displayed on screen, the nigs are invariable favoured in reach advantage over the White fighters, but in NHB fighting it isn't as crucial as boxing where only punches to certain areas of the body are allowed, in MMA there are so many strategic plays you have to make in your head that the nigs simply bust a frontal lobe and just get their asses kicked. Even Yves Edwards regarded as a lightweight "contender" in the UFC got beaten by an unknown Canadian in the recent UFC. Nigs and jews are shitting bricks now that MMA is being sanctioned in more and more states, I expect UFC and PRIDE to swiftly overtake boxing and become a showcase for White superiority in combat.

Check this out, here is an interesting article on the Brazilians trying to dethrone the Russian machine, Fedor:

http://www.graciemag.com/?c=147&a=3190

Here is one quote from UFC fighter Renato "Babalu Sobral that caught my attention:

Today, to face him, no one can go with a blind training. Further, one must remember who the Russians are. They descend from Caucasians, a race that always fought against the harshest climatic conditions. I’ve heard the Olympic champion Aleksander Karelin was born weighing 11.5lb… Nearly an ox.

It wasn't a loss, the match had to be stopped in about 30 seconds into the fight because Fedor suffered a cut, a freak accident as a result of an (illegal) elbow and the fight had to be stopped. It was a tournament match so they couldn't call it a draw and they awarded the match to Kosaka, hence no one in the MMA world actually recognizes it a "loss" on his record.

Here's where it get's fun, the PRIDE execs decided to play into the whole only man to "defeat" Fedor gimmick and gave Fedor a rematch against the gook. The result?

http://www.sherdog.com/images/pictures/11654.jpg

It looked bad, but Kohsaka continues on. Fedor pretty much mauled Kohsaka for the entire first round, and the fight had to be stopped many time to clean the blood off from Kohsaka’s face. To his credit Kohsaka did hang in there with perhaps the most dangerous heavyweight on the planet right now, and even made a few leg submission attempts.

But in the end Fedor was just too much and Kohsaka could not come out for the second round. Kohsaka did not turn up for a post-fight interview but I did see Fedor. He had a good-sized scrape on his forehead but other than that was now worse for wear.

Wow, what a pro. Comes in calm and focused, no grabassing or silly stuff. Stoic, dispassionate. Doesnt need to jump around and act like a clown. Only salute to the crowd is the right hand raised high not unlike a "roman salute."

Dignified entry from the Nip too. Short bow, no goofing. But then-- wtf, he wont touch gloves? Sad.

And rightly he got whupped. Fedor unleashed a flurry of heavy punches at his face, the Nip backpedals, then finally cuts the pugilism with some kind of takedown, only, ---WHOOPS -- Fedor lands on top, slips his guard and gets in the MOUNT position, then it's a few whacks to the cerebellum to soften up the Nip's brain, and then, not after long- slip-slides into an arm bar-- blocked by the Nip, and Fedor breaks the block to complete the submission hold which is a favorite in Judo-- how apt an ending-- called "JAPANESE ARM BAR." LOL

I like that Bas Rutten. Not a bad commentator. I saw him fight a few times-- tough dude.
